The Department of Electrical (Power) Engineering, established in 2007, offers graduate and post-graduate programs in diverse fields of Electrical Engineering. The department has 11 dedicated faculty members with 6 Ph.D. from National and International universities. The department of Electrical (Power) Engineering has taken measures to actively involve industrial personnel to play a role in the academic grooming of our students. Experts from industry, department alumni, and others are taking part to strengthen our graduate and post-graduate program. We encourage our students to visit industries and identify problems pertaining to them, which could be undertaken as projects. Such liaisons have remained fruitful in developing industrial linkages with industries/organizations situated in the near vicinity.
