IUB Law Debating presents its essay writing competition on the topic "Lessons from the Karbala"

The month of Muharram is a time of mourning the tragedy of Karbala, but it is also a time for us to reflect on how we can improve ourselves and draw lessons from history to live a more purposeful and God-serving life.

Email your completed essay on how can we apply the lessons learned from the event of Karbala into our daily lives to [email protected] by October before 27th August, 2021. 5 PM PST. See poster for prizes, requirements, and more details.

The 2nd general cabinet meeting of law debating society was held on 14 July at 8;30pm virtually through zoom.
President Muhammad Usman Shaheen Presided the meetings. The manifesto and working strategy were discussed in detail. Some proposals for physical events were also proposed to be happened after the spring exams 2021.

First meeting of IUB Law Debating Society was held at law moot room at date 2_7_2021 at time 10:30 am.1
The meeting is presided by worthy advisor of IUBLDS Mr. Amjad Hussain.
The meeting started with the recitation of holy quraan. Advisor IUBSMS congratulate all the newly elected members of the society.
The members are alloted with their specified duties and tasks.

IUB Debating Society is observing "Kashmir Week" in solidarity with the Kashmiri people. We are organizing a SPEECH COMPETITION in this regard.
The details are as follows:

1) The speech contest is Bilingual (Urdu and English).

2) VIDEO OF THE DAY during the week shall be uploaded on our page and YouTube channel.

3) Top three POSITION HOLDERS will be honored with Merit certificates and a meeting with honorable advisors of the IUB Debating Society.

4) The maximum DURATION of the speech is 4 minutes.

5) Contestants can choose topics pertaining to the Kashmir cause.
