🚨 SCAM/FRAUD ALERT – CHUGHTAI LAB (Ahmadpur East) 🚨
Please read and share to protect others from similar experiences.

I am writing to report a serious case of medical identity fraud and misuse of personal information involving Chughtai Lab at their Ahmadpur East branch.

🗓️ Incident Date: 1st March 2025
🔍 Nature of Fraud:

A test was conducted under my name.

I paid in cash, but when I asked for a receipt, I was told “the system is down” – and no slip or documentation was provided.

Then,(45 days later), I received a call from the lab requesting a copy of my medical card “for record purposes.”

To my shock, I later found out they used this card to generate and charge an invoice to my former employer — an organization I left over four years ago. My ex-employer contacted me about the invoice, which led to the discovery of this unauthorized, fraudulent use of my identity and medical details.

📢 This is a clear case of:

Forged documentation

Misuse of corporate medical privileges

Breach of data privacy and trust

This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a healthcare provider. It raises serious concerns about the ethical standards and data handling practices at Chughtai Lab.

➡️ I call on Chughtai Lab's higher management to:

Immediately investigate this incident.

Identify and discipline those responsible.

Implement stricter controls to protect customer data.

Take legal and corrective measures to ensure this never happens again.

Please stay alert, always demand receipts, and verify invoices — your personal data might be at risk.

An MOU was signed between the Department of Information Technology, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (DIT – IUB) and Code’s Thinker Software House Bahawalpur (CTSHB) on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Prof. Dr. Dost Muhammad Khan, Incharge/Dean, Faculty of Computing and Chairman, DIT – IUB and Mr. Muhammad Usama Fazal, Managing Director, CTSHB singed this MoU. Prof. Dr. Najia Saher, Chairperson, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Malik Muhammad Saad Missen, Chairman, Department of Software Engineering, Dr. Rana Nazir Ahmad, Dr. Muhammad Asadullah, Dr. Syed Ali Nawaz, Dr. Musarat Karim, Dr. Mustafa Hameed, Mr. Muhammad Munawar Ahmad and Mr. Karim Nawaz were also attended this ceremony. The prominent features of this MOU are:
• Internships: The CTSHB will offer 10 to 20 free internship opportunities every semester to students of DIT-IUB to gain practical experience in the IT industry.
• Seminars: Parties will Jointly organize seminars to provide insights into industry trends and technological advancements.
• Workshops: Parties will jointly conduct workshops focused on skill development and emerging technologies.
• Free Courses: CTSHB will provide 5 Free Courses of Full Stack Web development every semester to the deserving students (Orphan) in development-oriented fields.
• Job Opportunities: CTSHB will provide job opportunities to qualified students based on student’s performance and company’s needs.

A ceremony of scholarships’ cheques distribution was held in the Department of Information Technology (DIT) on March 25, 2024. Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad Khan Buzdar, Dean, Faculty of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sher Muhammad Malik, Chairman Hall Council, Prof. Dr. Areeba Khan, Director, Financial Aid and Mr. Muhammad Zaman Ali, member syndicate distributed the scholarships’ cheques among the students selected in different categories such as the Position Holders, Needy, Kinship, Orphan and Hafiz-e-Quran.
Prof. Dr. Dost Muhammad Khan, Dean, Faculty of Computing, Prof. Dr. Najia Saher and Assistant Prof. MS Afsha Imtiaz Elahi were also present on this occasion.
