The University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah, organized a Defence Day Programme on Monday, 7 September 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Conference Hall of the University.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, Vice Chancellor, University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah. The event was organized to commemorate Defence Day and pay tribute to the bravery, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
The programme highlighted the significance of 6 September Defence Day and created awareness among students about the sacrifices made for the protection and security of the country. Students and faculty members expressed their patriotism and respect for the nation's defenders.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts behind organizing the programme and emphasized the importance of patriotism, discipline, unity, and responsible citizenship among students.
The event concluded with prayers for the peace, security, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan, reaffirming the University's commitment to promoting national unity and patriotic values among its students.

The University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah, organized a Meelad-e-Nabi (ﷺ) Programme on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at the Conference Hall of the University.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, Vice Chancellor, University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah. The event was organized to commemorate the blessed birth of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (ﷺ) and to promote the teachings, Seerat, and message of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) among students.
During the programme, students actively participated and performed Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (ﷺ) with devotion and respect. Their melodious recitations created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere and reflected the students’ love and reverence for the Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
The programme provided an opportunity for students and faculty members to express their devotion and learn about the noble character, teachings, and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). The Vice Chancellor appreciated the participation and efforts of the students and encouraged them to follow the teachings and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) in their daily lives.
The event concluded in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere with prayers for the prosperity of the University, its students and faculty, and the progress and peace of the country

State Bank of Pakistan Holds SME Mentorship Program at University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhit Shah

A session on the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Mentorship Program was held at the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences (USMS), Bhit Shah, organized by the Department of Business Administration in the University Conference Hall.
The session was conducted by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Hyderabad, represented by Mr. Sabgatullah. The students of various departments attended the awareness session on entrepreneurship, SME development, business opportunities, and the financial support and mentorship initiatives available to aspiring entrepreneurs.
During the session, students were briefed on the importance of SMEs in Pakistan’s economic development and their role in generating employment, promoting innovation, and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The speaker also highlighted the importance of business planning, financial literacy, access to finance, and effective management for establishing and growing sustainable enterprises.
The session provided students with valuable insights into practical aspects of entrepreneurship and encouraged them to explore business opportunities and develop their entrepreneurial skills. An interactive discussion and question-and-answer session also allowed students to seek guidance regarding business development and SME-related initiatives.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso appreciated the initiative of SBP Hyderabad and also commented on the significance of session and its content. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the department for organizing such important sessions. The event concluded with a message encouraging students to pursue entrepreneurship and contribute positively to Pakistan’s economic growth.

The University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhit Shah, organized a Seminar on Peace Building on 21 August 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Conference Hall of the University.
The seminar was organized under the theme “Building a Culture of Peace for a Better Tomorrow”, with the objective of promoting dialogue, mutual understanding, respect, empathy, cooperation, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among students.
Dr. Zafar Junejo was invited as the Speaker of the seminar. He delivered an informative and thought-provoking talk on peace building and highlighted the important role of youth in promoting tolerance, harmony, and constructive dialogue in society.
The seminar was graced by Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, Vice Chancellor, University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhit Shah, as the Chief Guest. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of developing a culture of peace, respect, and understanding within educational institutions and society.
The programme also highlighted five key values of peace building: Dialogue, Respect, Empathy, Cooperation, and Peace. Students and university participants actively attended the seminar and benefited from the speaker's views and discussion.
The event concluded with a collective message that peace is a shared responsibility and that dialogue, mutual respect, empathy, and cooperation are essential for building a peaceful and harmonious society.

HEC Accreditation Team Conducts Comprehensive Evaluation Visit to the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah

Bhitshah, August 17, 2026: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan conducted an accreditation visit to the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences (USMS), Bhitshah, to evaluate the institution's academic and administrative standards in accordance with the prescribed quality assurance framework of the HEC.

The visiting committee carried out a comprehensive assessment of the university's academic, administrative, and infrastructural facilities. The evaluation process included a detailed review of faculty profiles, academic programs, administrative practices, institutional governance, and quality assurance mechanisms to determine compliance with the standards established by the Higher Education Commission.

During the visit, the committee also inspected the university's educational and technological infrastructure, including computer laboratories and the state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Laboratory equipped with robotic features. The inspection focused on the university's efforts to integrate modern technologies into teaching, learning, and research activities.

The Worthy Vice Chancellor of the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, warmly welcomed the HEC accreditation team and presented a comprehensive briefing on the university's current academic standing, strategic vision, ongoing infrastructure development, and future expansion plans. He highlighted the institution's commitment to strengthening academic excellence while promoting the unique integration of Sufism with contemporary education.

The members of the accreditation committee appreciated the university's cooperation and examined all relevant documentation and facilities during the evaluation process. The visit concluded in a cordial and constructive environment, reflecting the university's dedication to continuous improvement and quality enhancement.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Vice Chancellor, along with the university administration, expressed gratitude to the HEC accreditation team and the Chairperson of the Higher Education Commission for their valuable guidance and continued support in promoting quality assurance and academic excellence in higher education institutions across Pakistan

ORIC USMS & SEIC Explore Collaboration to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Under the directives of the Vice Chancellor, University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, BhitShah, Professor Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), USMS, organized a productive session with the Sindh Enterprise Incubation Center (SEIC) to explore opportunities for collaboration in innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development.
The session was conducted by Umair Jaliawala, a renowned motivational speaker, who engaged students with inspiring insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, and transforming ideas into meaningful impact.
The discussion also focused on creating opportunities for USMS students and young researchers to develop innovative ideas, strengthen research commercialization, and build pathways toward sustainable startups.
ORIC USMS believes that such collaborations can play a vital role in empowering the youth of rural Sindh and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem.

The University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhit Shah, celebrated Independence Day, 14 August 2026, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso. The programme featured speeches by students, patriotic songs, flag hoisting, cake cutting, and a tug-of-war competition among students to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.

Students actively participated in the celebrations and expressed their love and devotion to the motherland through inspiring speeches and patriotic performances. The tug-of-war competition added excitement and a spirit of healthy competition among the students.

In his address, the Worthy Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, education, and national responsibility. He encouraged students to play their role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan through knowledge, dedication, and positive contributions to society.

Faculty members, officers, staff, and students participated enthusiastically in the ceremony. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso appreciated the efforts of Sayed Wasif Ali Shah, Student Welfare Officer, for making comprehensive arrangements and ensuring the successful organization of the Independence Day ceremony.

On the night of August 12th, the University of Sufism and Modern Sciences, Bhitshah, was beautifully decorated and illuminated in green lights to mark the upcoming 14th August Independence Day celebrations.
Under the leadership of our Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, the campus was transformed to honor the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride.
