Bacha Khan University Charsadda and Women University Mardan Signed MoU to Boost Academic Collaboration
Bacha Khan University Charsadda (BKUC) and Women University Mardan (WUM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic collaboration, research activities, and capacity building between the two public sector universities.
The signing ceremony was held at Women University Mardan, where Prof. Dr. Khan Alam, Vice Chancellor of BKUC, and Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of WUM, formally inked the agreement in the presence of ORIC officials from both institutions.
Under the three-year MoU, both universities will collaborate on multiple fronts including exchange of academic and administrative staff, joint research projects, organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as extra-curricular activities. The agreement also emphasizes research-oriented trainings for faculty members to help them meet global academic challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Khan Alam highlighted that the partnership would open new avenues for research opportunities, particularly for the faculty and students of BKUC, while also fostering mutual understanding between the two universities. Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana expressed that the MoU reflects a shared commitment to empowering youth and faculty—especially women—through quality education, research, and innovation.
This partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening inter-university linkages in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and promoting a culture of joint academic and research endeavors.
