By bringing together elite healthcare professionals and aspiring students, the seminar created a vibrant exchange of ideas focused on the latest life-saving advancements in imaging technology.

Honorable Guest Speakers included:

- Prof Dr Asim Shaukat (Head of Radiology Department, FMU / Consultant Radiologist, Allied Hospital Faisalabad)
- Dr Awais Bin Qadir (Head of Radiology, PINUM)
- Dr Hassan Bukhari (Assistant Professor of Radiology, Allied Hospital Faisalabad / FMU)

Key Highlights of the Event:

- An insightful session on Radiation Safety and Dose Optimization, emphasizing patient safety and best clinical practices
- A comprehensive talk on Latest Trends in CT Imaging
- An engaging hands-on workshop on Mammography and Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy, providing practical exposure to participants
- Active and enthusiastic participation from students, trainees, and healthcare professionals

The workshop concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Tahira Iqbal, followed by the distribution of certificates among participants.

The Department of Radiography & Imaging Sciences organized an educational visit to the Radiology Department of International Quaid-e-Azam Hospital, Islamabad, providing students with valuable exposure to modern imaging modalities and real-time clinical workflows. This visit aimed to strengthen students’ practical understanding of contemporary radiological practices and enhance their professional competency.

The visit was supervised by Ms. Easha Tallat, Dr. Iqra Abdul Razaq, and Ms. Roha Asif, whose guidance ensured a meaningful and well-coordinated learning experience for the students.

We appreciate the enthusiasm demonstrated by the students and the support extended by the host institution in facilitating this academic activity.
