Heartfelt congratulations to the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and The University of Faisalabad (TUF) on their outstanding achievement at the 35th National Games in Karachi!

We're thrilled to see securing 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals, and achieving an impressive Overall Second Position in HEC Boxing Women! This remarkable feat is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and talent of the athletes and the team.

Kudos to the HEC for entrusting TUF with this responsibility, and to the university for delivering exceptional results. May this success inspire and motivate others to strive for excellence.

The University of Faisalabad participate in the All Pakistan Intervarsity Athletics Men Championship 2025-26, held at the University of Peshawar from 12 to 15 November 2025:

- Majid Rafique impressed everyone with his speed, completing the 100m dash in 11.60 seconds and the 200m dash in 24.86 seconds!
- Hasnat Rehman was just a step away from qualifying for the finals, finishing 2nd in his heat with a time of 54.16 seconds in the 400m.
- Hammad Saif gave a tough competition in the 400m, finishing 3rd in his heat with a time of 56.89 seconds.
- Moizullah represented our university in the 110m hurdles, completing the event in 17.18 seconds.
- Danish Murad had a solid performance:
- Secured 6th position in the 1500m.
- Finished 7th in the 5000m.
- Majid Rafique also showcased his jumping skills, achieving a remarkable 5.60m in the long jump.
- Syed Sadnan put up a good fight in the long jump, recording 4.80m. Although he didn't qualify for the discuss throw, we'll come back stronger next time!
- Our relay team gave it their all and secured 4th position.

We're proud of all our participants for representing the University of Faisalabad with such spirit and determination!

All Pakistan HEC Intervarsity Men Karate Championship, held from 18th to 20th November 2025 at University of the Punjab, where The University of Faisalabad secured 7 Bronze medals. Qandeel won two Bronze medals, one in Fight and one in Kumite. In the team Kumite event, Anas Asad, Muhammad Zafeer Zahid, Qandeel, Shahzaib, and Asad secured 5 Bronze medals.

TUF successfully hosted the Closing Ceremony of the 4th HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Women Boxing Championship 2025-26 on November 6, 2025.

The ceremony brought together talented women athletes from universities across Pakistan, showcasing their strength, skill, and sportsmanship in an inspiring display of competitive spirit.

In the championship results:

UMT and University of the Punjab secured the 1st position
Lahore College for Women University LCWU clinched the 2nd position
The University of Faisalabad proudly achieved the 3rd position

The University of Faisalabad is hosting the 4th HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Women Boxing Championship 2025-26, Faisalabad, on November 4-6, 2025, bringing together talented female boxers from universities across the country. A special highlight of the event was the participation of chief guest, Ms Ayesha Mumtaz, a proud boxer from Sargodha, who is a World Silver Medalist (China 2025), ASBC Asian Bronze Medalist (Abu Dhabi 2024), three-time National Gold Medalist, and two-time Pakistan Premier Boxing Title winner.

The opening ceremony was graced by Rector, Registrar, distinguished coaches, managers of participating teams and enthusiastic students of TUF, commencing with an enthusiastic March Past by 16 participating universities at the Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Ground of TUF.
