NTU holds a rally to mark the anniversary of the Marka-e-Haq victory.
The National Textile University, Faisalabad, PMYDC-Arts and Culture Society organized a solidarity rally under Convenor Mr. Saqib Rao to commemorate the anniversary of the Marka-e-Haq victory under Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos and to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces on May 06, 2026. The rally was led by Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood, and Dean Dr. Zafar Javed attended with a large number of students, faculty members, and university officials, including Mr. Adeel Bin Ahmed, Mr. Afzal, Madam Nadia Shamim, Madam Tobassum Latif, Madam Nida Ramzan, , Amjad Ali Naz, Malik Omair, and Sardar Parvez Akhtar attended the rally. Addressing the participants, Dr. Masood termed the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos a symbol of national pride, courage, and resilience against terrorism. He emphasized the importance of unity, patriotism, and support for national defense institutions while paying homage to the martyrs and their families for their invaluable sacrifices.

Placement Drive—NTUPM-YDC - Sapphire Fibres Ltd.
In collaboration with Sapphire Fibres Ltd., National Textile University organized an impactful Placement drive, creating valuable career opportunities for students. The event commenced with an interactive company presentation where industry representatives introduced students to the organization, its professional environment, and future career prospects.
Students later appeared in a structured recruitment assessment aimed at evaluating their knowledge, skills, and potential. Candidates who successfully qualified were invited for final interviews, confidently showcasing their talent and professional aptitude before the recruitment panel. Dr Imran Khan Deputy Director NTU Placement and Internship, facilitates the drive.

NTU PM-YDC Debating Club Showcases Excellence at APDC '26 Hosted by MNS University of Agriculture, Multan
The National Textile University PM-YDC Debating Club participated in APDC '26, Sehr-e-Intisaab-2, hosted by MNS University of Agriculture on April 23, 2026. The event gathered talented speakers from universities nationwide for bilingual declamation competitions in Urdu and English categories. Representing NTU, Hassan Ali Raza competed in Urdu Serious, while Mariam Sabar participated in English Humorous. Individual participants included Jamshaid Ahsan (Urdu Serious), Noor e Adan (English Serious), and Seerat Fatima (English Serious). NTU proudly achieved recognition as Seerat Fatima secured a Consolation Prize in the English (Serious category) for her impactful and confident speech delivery.

Visit of Kohinoor Grammar School & College Canal Campus Students to NTU:
The visit of Kohinoor Grammar School students to NTU was a thoughtfully organized and inspiring event aimed at broadening young minds and introducing them to diverse academic and co-curricular opportunities. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed and photographed before being escorted to the main hall with the Worthy Rector NTU, Dr. Rashid Masood. The proceedings commenced in a dignified manner with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a soulful Naat and the national anthem. The host then articulated the vision and purpose of the gathering, highlighting NTU’s dynamic academic fields and vibrant student life. An engaging presentation by Ms. Nadia Shamim, along with insightful career guidance from Mr. Adeel Bin Ahmed, left a lasting impression. Ms. Sabha Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of Kohinoor Grammar School. The event concluded with an extensive campus tour and refreshments, making it a memorable and enlightening experience for all.
