YDA Sindh Demands Immediate Salary Restructuring Amid Healthcare Crisis
KARACHI – The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh issues a warning to the Government of Sindh. Despite working six days a week during this crisis, our current compensation fails to meet basic economic needs. We demand an immediate salary revision to prevent a total breakdown of services.
*Key Demands*:
Pay Raise: An immediate 50% increase in total pay for all health employees.
Stipend Revision: House Officer stipends must rise from 69k to 100k, and Postgraduate (PG) salaries from 100k to 150k.
Allowance Merging: All current ad-hoc allowances must be merged into the basic pay scale.
Allowance Adjustments: Medical Allowance must be revised to 50% of current basic pay, and Conveyance Allowance to 45% of current basic pay.
If these demands are not met, YDA Sindh will be forced to escalate protests across the province. The government must prioritize those working tirelessly in Emergency and Casualty departments.
Long Live YDA
Long Live unity
