University of the Punjab announces results: Govt Graduate Islamia College Gujranwala English Department records near 100% success
Gujranwala (Staff Reporter): The University of the Punjab, Lahore, has released the semester examination results for its affiliated colleges, among which the Department of English at Govt Graduate Islamia College, Gujranwala, has posted an outstanding performance in the BS English Fall 2025 examinations. The results for the Morning, Evening and MA Replacement sessions showed almost 100% pass percentage, with high achievers dominating the merit list.
According to the result gazette issued by the Controller of Examinations, the college’s slogan “Almost 100% Results — High Achievers” was truly reflected this semester as well.
In the BS English Morning Session (1st Semester), Aqsa Zia (Roll No. 152280) clinched the top position with a perfect GPA of 4.00. Sumaira (Roll No. 152278) stood second with 3.93 GPA, while the third position was jointly held by Kinza Arshad (Roll No. 152273), Bukhtawar (Roll No. 152270) and Fiza Safat (Roll No. 152258), all scoring 3.91 GPA.
In the 3rd Semester (Morning), Sehar Sultan (Roll No. 118415) secured first place with 3.86 GPA. Aleeza Saleem (Roll No. 118389) took second with 3.80 GPA, followed by Zoha Sikandar (Roll No. 118394) and Faiza Tariq (Roll No. 118404), both at 3.79 GPA in joint third.
In the 5th Semester (Morning), Adan Hashmi (Roll No. 99179) led with 3.79 GPA, Nimra Shehzadi (Roll No. 99199) was second with 3.78 GPA, and Mubashara (Roll No. 99222) third with 3.71 GPA.
In the 7th Semester (Morning), Aansa Shahid (Roll No. 76776) topped with 3.77 GPA, Rukha Afzal (Roll No. 76730) came second with 3.69 GPA, and Uswa Imtiaz (Roll No. 76781) secured third with 3.64 GPA.
In the BS English Evening Session (1st Semester), Nimra Younas (Roll No. 152305) stood first with 3.91 GPA. Pakeeza Eman (Roll No. 152238) was second with 3.76 GPA, and Emaan Khizra (Roll No. 152248) third with 3.74 GPA.
In the 3rd Semester (Evening), Aimen Azhar (Roll No. 118381) earned first place with 3.72 GPA, Shehar Bano (Roll No. 118382) second with 3.65 GPA, and Laiba Rizwan (Roll No. 118425) third with 3.63 GPA.
In the 5th Semester (Evening), Hamna Afzal (Roll No. 99216) topped with 3.83 GPA, Samreen (Roll No. 99215) followed with 3.70 GPA, and Kainat (Roll No. 99153) secured third with 3.62 GPA.
In the 7th Semester (Evening), Huma Tabassum (Roll No. 76764) claimed first position with 3.64 GPA, Fizza Noor (Roll No. 76741) second with 3.63 GPA, and Maniha Nasir (Roll No. 76745) along with Ayesha Zubair (Roll No. 76786) jointly took third place with 3.54 GPA.
In the BS English MA Replacement (5th Semester), Bareera Asad (Roll No. 172038) and Asma Bibi (Roll No. 172030) shared the first position, both achieving 3.58 GPA. Rida Batool (Roll No. 172012) took second with 3.48 GPA, and Mubarra Saeed (Roll No. 172023) third with 3.47 GPA.
In the 7th Semester (MA Replacement), Madiha Sundas (Roll No. 137154) stood first with 3.56 GPA, Arsalan Hameed (Roll No. 137139) second with 3.43 GPA, and Javeria Mansoor (Roll No. 137134) third with 3.38 GPA.
The principal and the faculty of the English Department congratulated all the successful students and expressed pride in their consistent academic excellence.
