Dr. Janvi led an interactive Clinical Case Study session on Shoulder Impingement Syndrome for our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, bridging evidence-based assessment with hands-on therapeutic intervention.
During the lab session, students evaluated complex shoulder mechanics, analyzing subacromial compression, rotator cuff strength deficits, and scapular dyskinesis. Under Dr. Janvi’s guidance, students practiced performing diagnostic special tests (including Hawkins-Kennedy and Neer tests), executing manual therapy techniques, and tailoring corrective exercise programs to restore painless overhead function and glenohumeral stability.

At the National Institute of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Medicine (NIPRM), we bridge the gap between musculoskeletal theory and patient care. Every second counts in critical care! Today, Dr. Faysal led an intensive, interactive practical training session on Emergency Procedures, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students.
During the hands-on clinical lab, students stepped into real-world simulation scenarios to practice:
🫁 Airway Management & Ventilation: Proper application of Bag-Valve-Mask (AMBU bag) ventilation and open-airway techniques.
💓 Chest Compressions: Mastering precise hand positioning, depth, and compression rates to maintain circulatory support during cardiac arrest.

Our final-year students confidently presented their innovative research proposals, reflecting their dedication to evidence-based practice and academic excellence. ⚡ POWERING UP CLINICAL SKILLS AT NIPRM! 🎓✨

Today, Dr. Paras Mugaria led Hands-On, Interactive Electrotherapy Practical Session for our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, focusing on clinical applications of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS).
During the lab session, students gained direct, hands-on experience in precise electrode placement along the forearm to target the wrist flexors and extensors. Students practiced calibrating frequency and intensity parameters to effectively modulate pain, facilitate neuro-muscular re-education, and enhance functional hand and wrist rehabilitation.
At the National Institute of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Medicine (NIPRM), we bridge the gap between electrotherapeutic theory and bedside patient care.
