SSP Waqar Shoaib Qureshi, IIUI Alumnus, Awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for Distinguished National Service
International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) proudly acknowledges the remarkable achievement of its distinguished alumnus, SSP Waqar Shoaib Qureshi, who has been awarded the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of his outstanding services to the nation.
An alumnus of the Faculty of Shariah & Law, IIUI, SSP Waqar Shoaib Qureshi graduated in 2005 and is currently serving abroad on the United Nations mission representing Pakistan.
Throughout his distinguished professional career, he has served in several key positions, including Director NAB, Additional Inspector General Punjab, Inspector General Gilgit-Baltistan, Director Intelligence Bureau, and District Police Officer (DPO) Toba Tek Singh.
The award was received on his behalf by his maternal uncle, Akhlaq Ahmed Qureshi, who is also an alumnus of the Faculty of Shariah & Law, IIUI. Akhlaq Ahmed Qureshi has previously served in important positions within the Federal Investigation Agency, including Director FIA Immigration & Passports Punjab and Director FIA Immigration & Passports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
