Day 2: Short Questions Answers
Q: Define motherboard. (Ans):It is the main circuit board. All the components of computers are connected with it.
Q: Define processor. (Ans): it is a brain of computer for stop it process the data and instructions. It is also called CPU. Its main components are AU and LU.
Q: Define fingerprint reader. (Ans): it is advice which captures are fingerprint and translate it into a digital code. This code is compared with the already stored information in computer.
Q: Define Expansion Card. (Ans): expansion card is small circuit board. It gives a computer the capability to control a storage device, input device or output device.
Day 3: Q: Define Barcode Reader.(Ans): it is an input device for stop it gather information by reading barcode. Barcode is set of light and dark lines.
Q: Define System Unit.List its important units.(Ans): it is a box where processing takes place. It consists of motherboard, processor, power supply, storage devices IT sector. It is found in two shapes, Desktop and Tower shape.
Q: What is the role of Control Unit in a computer? (Ans): the control unit CU is the part of CPU. It directs operation of the processor. It tells the Computer memory , arithmetical / logic unit and input and output devices how to respond.
Q: Differentiate between RAM and ROM. (Ans): RAM is called Random Access Memory ful stop it is temporary storage. It is connected at motherboard.
ROM is read only memory ,it is permanent memory for stop it contains set up instruction of the computer.

Day 1: List few adwantages and disadvantages of Robot
Ans.Advantages: They never get it right. They can work in situations where human cannot work. They do not make errors.
Disadvantages limitations: They are expensive. They can only do specific job.
Q: Explain different parts of processor in detail.
Ans: processor is a brain of the computer. It has following parts :
Control unit CU : The control unit CU is the part of CPU. It direct operations of the processor. It tells the computer's memory, arithmetical logical unit and input and output devices how to respond.
Arithmetic Logic Unit ALU: It performs all type of arithmetic operations like addition, Subtraction, multiplication and division etc. It can also perform logical operations like AND,OR ,NOT etc. It has high speed Digital circuit to perform operations.
Day 2: Q: What is the use of expansion card? Explain different types of expression card in detail.
Ans. Expansion slots are long narrow sockets on the motherboard. Different expansion cards can be plucked in the slots. Some expansion cards are as under:
Video card: It is also called graphics card for stop its and digital signals to video output device. Sound card: It plays voice such as music file.
Modem card: It follows computers to communicate over the internet.
Network interface card NIC: It is advised through which computer are connected in local area network LAN.
Day 3: Q: What is a robot? Explain different types of robots.
Ans. Robots are automatic machines that reflect the behavior of living things like human beings. They perform different task as per the directions. They have following types:
Moving Robots: They can move from one place to another. They are used for moving wheels, Caterpillar tracks, legs usually more than two.
Stationary Robots: They are fixed and cannot move. Their parts and movements are like human beings. They have waste shoulder, elbow ,wrist etc.

Q: Define booting :Booting is the process of loading the installed operating system files from the hard disk to the RAM.
Q: Define device drivers : A device driver is a program that controls a particular type of device that is attached to the computer.
Q: Define utility programs utility program plays a Sporting role and they usually perform a limited number of task.
Q: Define disk scanner, disk scanner is utility software that detects and correct problems on a hard disk or any other storage medium.
Q:Define productivity software productivity software help computer uses to solve their problems .
Day 3: Q: Differentiate between system software and application software.
Ans: System software is used to control the operations of the computer and its devices. Application software is a set of programs which are used to perform specific task .
Q: Why operating system is a compulsory program in a computer? Name few important Operating System.
Ans: Operating System is compulsory because it controls and supervises all the activities of computer system. It acts as a platform for other programs to run. It manages all hardware components like CPU memory hard disc etc.
Some popular operating systems are Windows,LINUX,UNIX,Macintosh.

Day 1: Q: What is system software? Explain the types of system software in detail.
Ans: System software is used to control the operations of the computer and its devices. Following are some types of system software Operating System: It is most important software system software. it controls and supervises all the activities of computer system. It acts as a platform for other programs to run. It managers all hardware components like CPU memory hard disk etc.
Device drivers: A device driver is a program that controls a particular type of device that is attached to the computer. The device will not work without a proper drive driver. For example, it is a scanner is attached with PC. It will not work until you install it driver.
Day 2 : Q: Explain different types of utility programs.
Ans: A utility program place a supporting role and they usually perform a limited number of task. For example File Manager disk scanner and image reverse. File manager is used to manage and organize the files and folders. Disk scanner is utility software that detects and creates problems on a hard disk or any other storage medium. In which rivers are used to view images and edit them.
Q: What is application software? Explain its different types.
Ans: Application software is a set of programs, which are used to perform specific tasks. Its types are entertainment software, productivity software, education and reference software etc. Entertainment software includes computer games, audio video software and graphic programs for stop productivity software includes word processing, database software, and presentation software etc. Educational and reference software includes Typing tutor, dictionaries etc.
