"The Department of Business Studies organized a seminar on “E-Venturing: Digital Marketing Strategies for Startups” on 9 March 2026 for BS students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course. The session featured the Director General, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Mr. Tariq Mehmood, as the guest speaker, who shared valuable insights on digital entrepreneurship, emerging marketing trends, and the strategic use of digital platforms for startup growth. The event was attended by Dr. Amir Ishaque, Chair, Department of Business Studies; Dr. Hassan Hanif, Chair, Department of Management Studies; and Dr. Habib, Dean, AUSOM, whose presence added academic significance to the occasion. At the conclusion of the seminar, the Dean, AUSOM, presented a souvenir to the distinguished guest as a token of appreciation. The seminar provided students with a valuable learning opportunity by linking theoretical concepts of entrepreneurship with contemporary digital marketing practices and practical industry perspectives. The seminar was arranged by Mr. Malik Usman to complement course delivery by fostering industry–academia collaboration and enriching students’ learning with practical insights."
