NUST is set to host the 5th International Conference on Water, Energy and Environment for Sustainability (ICWEES 2025), organized by the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE). The flagship forum will convene leading researchers, industry experts, policymakers and practitioners from around the world to explore innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

The Department of Structural Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is proud to announce that our graduate student, Umar Ahmad Noor, has published a review paper as a single author, titled “Machine Learning Innovations in Revolutionizing Earthquake Engineering: A Review”, in Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering (Impact Factor: 12.1), one of the world’s leading journals in Computational Engineering.

This outstanding achievement showcases the cutting-edge research emerging from our department and underscores Umar’s exceptional contribution to this rapidly evolving field. We are proud of Umar’s contribution and achievement, and we congratulate him on this milestone. We also applaud the collaborative, innovation-driven environment fostered by our faculty, research laboratories, and peer community.
