βShaping Tomorrow: Youth in Action for Better Educationβ
On Friday, 23rd January 2026, Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) F-7/4, Islamabad had the honor of hosting a prestigious event to mark the International Day of Education 2026, titled βShaping Tomorrow: Youth in Action for Better Education β An Open Dialogue.β
The event commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by welcome remarks by the Secretary of Federal Education and Professional Training. This was followed by insightful addresses by the UNESCO Country Representative, and the State Minister of Education Ms. Wajeeha Qamar, highlighting the importance of youth engagement and quality education for national development.
A highly engaging interactive dialogue session with students provided a valuable platform for young voices to share ideas, perspectives, and aspirations for shaping the future of education. The program also included student performances, reflecting creativity, confidence, and talent.
The ceremony further featured souvenir distribution and concluded with closing remarks by the College Principal, marking a successful conclusion of a meaningful and impactful event.
