Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), through its U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W), participated in a high-level meeting with Mr. Timothy Kane, Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, to discuss the progress and impact of research projects supported by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Kamran Jan Ansari, Prof. Dr. Bakhshal Lashari, Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal, Dr. Arjumand Zehra Zaidi, and Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Gadhi highlighted the achievements of internationally funded research initiatives addressing critical challenges related to salinity management, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, water governance, and rural livelihoods in Pakistan.
The discussions underscored the importance of strengthening international research partnerships and promoting collaborative solutions for sustainable development.
