From founding a nonprofit academy charging just Rs. 200/month to mentoring gold medalists and top university performers — every step has been driven by one belief: education should be a right, not a privilege.

Sir Adnan Saeed is a distinguished and purpose-driven academic strategist with over 26 years of transformative impact in the fields of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Commerce Education. Currently serving as Manager Academics at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Adnan leads national curriculum development, examination design, and academic policy for core accounting subjects—shaping future finance professionals with rigor, relevance, and purpose.
An 11-time recipient of the ICMA Pakistan Nationwide Best Faculty Award, Adnan is celebrated for his exceptional pedagogy, innovative content design, and the consistent academic success of his students across professional qualifications. His prior role as Senior Faculty Member at ICMA Pakistan spanned more than a decade, where he introduced real-world IFRS applications, led transformative learning outcomes, and mentored students who went on to secure Gold Medals, Top Board Positions, University Distinctions, and Certificates of Merit.
Adnan also served as the academic lead at Saeed Academy of Commerce & Economics (SACE)—Pakistan’s first NGO-style commerce institute founded by Anwer Saeed. Under his leadership, SACE revolutionized access to education by charging a symbolic fee of just $2/month, offering full scholarships, free books, library access, and personalized mentoring—driving exceptional results in I.Com., B.Com., and CAM programs and uplifting thousands of underprivileged learners.
His academic footprint includes teaching and training roles at SZABIST, IoBM, FUUAST, and PIQC, where he introduced 150+ IFRS-aligned case lessons and led over 50 workshops on GAAP, IPSAS, IFRS, and corporate reporting standards. He is also a certified IPSAS trainer, known for advancing public and private sector accounting excellence.
On the international front, Adnan co-authored a chapter in Advanced Accounting alongside the late Uzair Hasan, contributed expert reviews for Kaplan’s Fundamentals of Financial Accounting, and led critical textbook corrections in the global edition of Accounting: The Basis for Business Decisions. His thought leadership has been featured in Pakistan & Gulf Economist, and he actively engages audiences through media interviews, YouTube lectures, and public speaking events that demystify accounting and advocate for equitable education.
In 2025, Adnan was honored as a Global Teacher Prize Community Member by the Varkey Foundation, joining a global network of educators committed to educational justice and innovation.
