🚀 From Classroom Concepts to Market-Ready Software Solutions

The Project Showcase to Industry of Software Engineering students of CS department is being organized in collaboration with the Business Incubation Center, Bahria University Karachi Campus (BIC- BUKC) and the Science Department under the leading faculty head Ms. Hadiqua Fazal, Sr. AP, and . Syed Rizwan Ali, AP/head of the BIC- BUKC.

This showcase is not just a display of student projects. It is a reflection of how our students are moving from classroom learning to real-world software development.

Throughout the semester, students have transformed practical problem scenarios into deployable software products and startup-oriented solutions by working on UI/UX design, frontend development, backend development, AI chatbot integration, testing, and deployment.

To give students true industry exposure, the projects have been developed in a simulated Software House environment, where students performed professional roles, followed development practices, and worked toward building market-ready solutions.

Therefore, to make them industry-ready, BIC-BUKC has engaged respected professionals from Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) registered companies, including CEOs, founders, and senior industry leaders, who will provide valuable feedback and guidance to our students.

The Business Incubation Center, Bahria University Karachi Campus (BIC-BUKC), organized an interactive session titled “Exploring Yourself as an Entrepreneur” for Media and English students on 27 April 2026.

The session was conducted by the Engr. Syed Rizwan Ali, Assistant Professor and Head of th Business Incubation Center, Bahria University Karachi Campus (BIC-BUKC). He engaged students in a meaningful discussion on entrepreneurial mindset, self-discovery, opportunity recognition, confidence building, and the importance of transforming ideas into practical ventures.

The session encouraged students to look beyond traditional career paths and understand how creativity, communication skills, problem-solving, and personal strengths can help them become future entrepreneurs.

We are pleased to share my participation in an insightful Experience Sharing Session on / ’s Practices and Learning Outcomes, organized by the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Karachi. (FUUAST).

It was an enriching platform that brought together ORIC and BIC professionals from across Karachi to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss challenges in research management, commercialization, and industry-academia collaboration. The session truly reflected the growing commitment of our institutions towards strengthening innovation ecosystems and driving impactful research.

He had the privilege to represent the Business Incubation Center, Bahria University Karachi Campus (BIC- BUKC), and contribute to the dialogue on fostering entrepreneurship and collaborative growth.
