The National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES_FAST) with headquarters at Islamabad and campuses at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Faisalabad is one of the leading technical universities in Pakistan. ts history dates back to 1985 when the Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology set up institutes for computer science in the cities of Karachi and Lahore in Pa

kistan. The National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences received its charter in 2000 in the Federal Area (capital). It became the first multi-campus university of Pakistan with campuses in Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar Lahore and Faisalabad. Departments:

The university has four departments in each of its campuses. These are:

Department of Civil Engineering (Only at Lahore Campus)

With deep regret and sorrow, all concerned are informed about the demise of Dr. Hilal A. Quershi, Ex-Director of Karachi Campus and one of the founder members of FAST.

We offer condolences to the bereaved family and pray to Allah to grant them courage and patience while thriving through such traumatic times. His Namaz e Janazah will take place at the Akram Jomaa Center in Calgary (Canada), after Friday prayers.
