IBA Institute of Emerging Technologies, Khairpur Mirs, proudly inaugurated its much-anticipated Sports Gala 2026 on 12th February 2026, kicking off a week-long celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Manzoor Ali Mirani, alongside other esteemed university officials.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. In their addresses, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of sports in building character, fostering teamwork, nurturing leadership skills, and maintaining a balanced academic life. Mr. Imran Ali Talpur, Sports Coordinator, administered the oath to all participants, pledging fair play and discipline throughout the gala.

The ceremony’s key moment was the trophy unveiling by the university officials, which was followed by a festive cake-cutting.

The Closing Ceremony of the English Language Development Program (ELDP) 2025–26 was held on February 2, 2026 with great enthusiasm and dignity at IBA IET Khairpur Mirs. The ceremony marked the successful completion of a three-month CEFR-based English language course and celebrated the academic achievement, confidence, and personal growth of the participating students.

The program formally commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a respectful and inspiring tone for the event. This was followed by an overview of the ELDP, highlighting its objectives, structure, and significance. The program was initiated under the visionary leadership of the worthy Pro Vice Chancellor, reflecting the institution’s strong commitment to enhancing students’ communication skills and academic readiness.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the address by Mr. Nawaz Ali, Course Instructor of ELDP, who shared insightful reflections on the three-month journey. He emphasized how the program focused on transforming students from hesitant speakers into confident communicators through consistent practice, interactive learning, and a supportive classroom environment. He appreciated the discipline, dedication, and determination shown by the students throughout the course.

The ceremony was further graced by the presence of respected administrator and the Academic Coordinator, whose participation added value and prestige to the event. Their support and guidance were acknowledged as instrumental in the successful ex*****on of the ELDP.
