لاسٹ ڈے ایٹ کالج اور اس کی سرگرمیوں کے حوالے سے جو کلچر اس وقت پورے پنجاب میں، خصوصاً تعلیمی اداروں میں پروان چڑھ رہا ہے، ہم سب کے لیے لمحہ فکریہ ہے اس کے اثرات نہ صرف ہمارے معاشرتی اقدار کے خلاف ہیں بلکہ ہمارے تعلیمی اداروں، اساتذہ کے مثبت امیج کو بھی متاثر کرتے ہیں۔
میں اپنے تمام کولیگز، دوستوں اور تعلیمی اداروں کے سربراہان سے گزارش کروں گا کہ اگر اس غلط کلچر کو فروغ پانے میں کئی سال لگے ہیں تو اس کی اصلاح میں بھی وقت درکار ہوگا۔ تاہم ہمیں مستقل مزاجی کے ساتھ اس کی شدت کو کم کرنے کے لیے سنجیدہ اقدامات کرنا ہوں گے۔
الحمدللہ، اس سال پنجاب کالج کوٹ ادو میں اس کلچر کی شدت کو کم کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی، جس کے مثبت اثرات میڈیا اور سوسائٹی میں بھی دیکھے گئے۔ رنگ، پٹاخے، ہولی جیسی سرگرمیاں، کرکٹ پھینکنا، کاغذات اچھالنا اور کالج کی دیواروں و مینٹیننس کو نقصان پہنچانا ایسی حرکات ہیں جو اخلاق، تربیت اور تعلیمی ماحول کے منافی ہیں۔
ان تمام رویوں کے منفی اثرات نہ صرف سوسائٹی بلکہ ہمارے ادارے، اساتذہ اور طلبہ کی شخصیت پر بھی پڑتے ہیں۔ اس لیے ہم سب اس بات پر متفق ہیں کہ انشاءاللہ آئندہ سال اس حوالے سے بھرپور آگاہی مہم چلائی جائے گی تاکہ اس رجحان کو کم سے کم کیا جا سکے۔
اس میں سب سے اہم کردار اداروں کے سربراہان، اساتذہ اور پھر طلبہ کا ہوگا۔ جب ہم سب مل کر مثبت تعلیمی اور تربیتی ماحول کو فروغ دیں گے تو یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں اپنے اصل مقصد، یعنی تعلیم اور بہترین تربیت، میں کامیابی عطا فرمائے گا۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب کو اپنی ذمہ داریاں احسن انداز میں ادا کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔
