🎓 The Vice Chancellor of University of Art and Culture, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Daudpoto, attended the 55th Meeting of the Vice Chancellors’ Committee organized by the Higher Education Commission at HEC Auditorium, Islamabad.
During the meeting, several important matters related to higher education governance, academic regulations, digital reforms, and institutional development were discussed in detail. Among the key agenda points, participants deliberated upon the policy regarding simultaneous enrolment in double degree programmes during the same academic session, including its regulatory framework, implementation mechanism, and institutional responsibilities.
A comprehensive presentation and live demonstration regarding the Online Degree Attestation System was also conducted, highlighting the digital process of application submission, verification, review, and final approval aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and modern governance within universities.
The meeting further focused on the strengthening and upgradation of Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs) in universities to align academic systems with modern educational standards, digital monitoring mechanisms, and contemporary market requirements. Discussions also highlighted the increasing employability of graduates from Art and Design disciplines and the growing role of creative education in entrepreneurship and professional development.
On the occasion, the worthy Vice Chancellor held a detailed interaction with the Chairman HEC and distinguished academic leaders, where he discussed the importance of Art, Design, and Cultural Education in promoting creativity, preserving heritage, and advancing innovation-driven learning in Pakistan. He also shared the vision and future development plans of the University of Art and Culture, Jamshoro.
The active participation of UAC in this national-level forum reflects the university’s commitment toward academic excellence, digital transformation, quality assurance, and the promotion of art and culture in higher education.
