Respected Sir
Subject: Harms of cell-phone addiction in teenagers
I solicit to draw the attention of the authorities and masses towards an important issue of Cell phone addiction in teenagers. It can have severe consequences on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Excessive cell phone use can lead to Exposure to screens and the constant notifications can interfere with sleep patterns, leading to fatigue, decreased concentration, and mood disturbances.
Cell phone addiction has been linked to increased symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress. Constantly switching between apps and notifications can reduce attention span, affecting academic performance and cognitive development.
To avoid cell phone addiction, teenagers and parents must Establish screen-free zones (e.g., dinner table, bedrooms) and times (e.g., during meals, before bed).
Engage in sports, outdoor activities, or hobbies to promote a healthy balance between screen time and physical activity
By being aware of the potential harms and taking proactive steps, teenagers and parents can work together to maintain a healthy balance between cell phone use and other aspects of life.
Yours faithfully
