The Lahore School of Law organized a one-day recreational tour to Mushkpuri Top for the final year students.

The journey brought together travel, trekking, and shared moments of laughter and connection. Students enjoyed the scenic route, the refreshing atmosphere of the hills, and the rewarding trek to the top, where the view made every step worthwhile.

On the return, the group stopped at Rawat for dinner before heading back to Lahore, marking the end of a long but fulfilling day.

A simple yet meaningful experience that turned into lasting memories of friendship, adventure, and the final year journey.

During the visit, students were given a detailed tour of the facility, which includes a fully equipped auditorium, seminar and conference halls, training spaces, an e-library, media and podcast rooms, a daycare centre, and fitness facilities, each designed to create an enabling and supportive environment for women. The session also highlighted several government initiatives aimed at women’s development, including She Threads, the CM Women Empowerment initiatives, CM Youth Programme, CM Ambassador Programme, and other skill-development and entrepreneurship schemes.

The students were subsequently addressed by Senior Legal Advisor Ms. Madiha Munawwar, who elaborated on the operational framework of the Complex and its role in providing accessible legal remedies through its dedicated helpline. She also provided awareness regarding key legal protections, including the Punjab Commission on the Status of Women and the Domestic Violence Act 2016, while candidly addressing the practical challenges faced in ensuring effective implementation and equitable relief. *Faculty Achievement*

Lahore School of Law proudly congratulates Dr. Iqbal Ahmed, esteemed faculty member on the successful defense of his PhD thesis from University of the Punjab, under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Majid Nadeem.

His research, titled “Arabic Literature in University Academic Studies in Pakistan,” presents a comprehensive and analytical study of modern Arabic literature within Pakistani universities, documenting existing research, examining emerging trends, and critically evaluating the quality and scope of MPhil and PhD dissertations produced in this field. The study further explores the evolution and branches of modern Arabic literature, distinguishing it from classical traditions, while identifying significant research gaps and future areas for scholarly inquiry.

We celebrate this remarkable milestone and wish him continued success in his academic journey.
