MoU Signing Ceremony Electrical Engineering Department, COMSATS University Lahore Campus Department of Electrical Engineering CUI Lahore & Tech 7 Academy

On 16th February 2026, at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between the Electrical Engineering Department and Tech 7 Academy (Tech 7 Group) to foster a strong industry-academia ecosystem in emerging Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Although the MoU was signed between the Department and Tech 7, the collaboration is deeply aligned with the professional vision and framework of IEEE. The presence of the IEEE Advisor reflects the commitment to ensuring that this partnership upholds global engineering standards, ethical practices, innovation culture, and student professional development in line with IEEE principles.

This collaboration will provide Electrical Engineering students with structured exposure to:

* Agentic AI and intelligent automation systems
* State-of-the-art AI tools and real-world platforms
* Industry-driven workshops and hands-on technical training
* Practical implementation aligned with modern engineering challenges

The initiative is designed to enhance students’ technical depth, innovation mindset, and global competitiveness — bridging academic foundations with cutting-edge industrial ex*****on.

Celebrating a Remarkable PhD Achievement!

With immense pride and joy, I congratulate Mr. Amged Hamid Esmail Abdo Bazeli on the successful defense of his PhD thesis! In COMSATS University Lahore Campus at Department of Electrical Engineering CUI Lahore.

Thesis Title: Observer-Based Controller Design for One-Sided Lipschitz Nonlinear Systems with Consideration of Practical Factors.

This milestone marks the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and intellectual passion. As an international student who pursued this ambitious journey far from home, Amged's success is a powerful testament to his resilience and commitment to excellence.

Special recognition goes to his supervisor, Dr. Mujtaba Hussain Jaffery (Tenured Associate Professor, EE, CUI Lahore), and co-supervisor Dr. Imran Ghaus, for their invaluable guidance.
