After Report of the Closing Ceremony of Arabic Society, Cabinet 2023-2024

The closing ceremony of the *Arabic Society, Cabinet 2023-2024*, was held with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event commenced with the recitation of the Glorious Holy Quran by _Aleem Ul Hassan,_ followed by a heartfelt Naat recitation by _Saira Karishma_.

Following the recitations, the distribution of certificates and shields to the society members took place. The chairperson of the Arabic and Islamic Studies department _Prof Dr Muhammad Farooq Haider_, the advisor of the Arabic Society _Dr Hafiz Khurshid Ahmed Qadri_, and the president of the society _Muhammad Sohaib Shahzad_ proudly presented the certificates and shields, recognizing the members' contributions and efforts throughout the year.

In a symbolic gesture of mutual respect, the chairperson of the department presented a shield to the advisor of the society, and the advisor, in turn, presented a shield to the chairperson. Lastly, both the chairperson and advisor jointly awarded the shield to the president of the Arabic Society, acknowledging his leadership and dedication.

The ceremony concluded with a thank-you note from the chairperson, who commended the society’s achievements and expressed appreciation for the hard work and commitment displayed by all its members. The chairperson also encouraged the continuation of this fruitful journey in the years to come.

Happy Labour day! It is a day to perceive the commitments, devotion, and battle for fair treatment for all workers.As a part of the "Arabic Society" we stand in fortitude with all laborers who keep on battling for their privileges. We should pause for a minute to see the value in the endeavors of the people who work eagerly to improve our reality spot to live in!

Ravian Quiz Society under Government College University organized a quiz competition on Seerat ul Nabi(SAW), a book written by Rai Manzoor Nasir Commissioner/secretary Govt of Punjab

This event took place on 12 December 2023 (Tuesday) from 2:00 PM to 4 PM.
Members of Arabic society and Majlis-e- Uloom-e- islamiyah society participated in this competition. 20 questions were asked from each society and Arabic society won the competition. The winners got certificates and Books on Serat ul Nabi (SAW) as a gift hamper.
Few questions were also asked from audience and they also got gift hampers .
Such events nourish minds and nurture thinking and should be promoted for the love of Islamic history.
