Students aspiring to seek admission in MPhil/MS or PhD programs (M.Phil Polymer Technology, M.Sc Polymer Engineering, M.Sc Textile Engineering and PhD Polymer Technology) at the Institute of Polymer & Textile Engineering (IPTE) for Fall 2026 are advised to prepare for the HEC GRE/HAT General and Subject Tests and qualify them within the prescribed time. From Fall 2026 onward, admissions in universities will be based on HEC GRE/HAT General and Subject Test scores. The minimum qualifying score required is 50% for MPhil/MS applicants and 60% for PhD applicants.

Another feather in the cap of IPTE
Alhamdulillah! We are proud to share that *Miss Ayesha Sharif, PhD Scholar at IPTE-PU, has won 1st Prize at CHEMSMART EXPO 2026, securing the CHEMSMART Gold Medal along with a cash prize of PKR 100,000.*
This achievement was earned at Pakistan’s leading Coating and Chemical Exhibition, held at the International Expo Centre, Lahore, from 23–25 April 2026. This remarkable success reflects dedication, academic excellence, and the strong research environment at IPTE. Heartfelt congratulations to Miss Ayesha Sharif, and sincere appreciation to Team IPTE and her supervisors, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Maqsood Khan and Dr. Saba Zia, for their guidance and support.

Alhamdulillah, we are delighted to share that our Ph.D. Scholar Ms. Rakhshanda Ashraf has been awarded the prestigious IRSIP Scholarship by HEC Pakistan. She will pursue advanced research at Aarhus University, Denmark.
