Indigenous On-Campus Training (IOT) for the University's Non-Teaching Staff
In pursuit of excellence and further development, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized eight days ‘Indigenous On-Campus Training (IOT)’ for the University's Non-Teaching Staff .
Speaking on the concluding ceremony of the IOT, the worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid said that this training will enhance the performance of our employees in their daily routine tasks. He said that skilled manpower was prerequisite to compete with the rest of the world. He also stressed the need of ICT for resolving our daily routine issues. He also said that capacity building of the staff is the essential to flourish the institutions. Registrar, Mr. Muhammad Asif and Director IB&M Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmad M***i also participated in opening and closing ceremony. The topics of the training were Communication Skills, Writing Skills, Good Governance, Finance & Audit, IT Equipment Management Skills and Administrative skills. 35 Officers (BPS 16 and above) participated in this training workshop including Deputy Registrars, Assistant Registrars and Admin Officers of UET.
Lastly, worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid distributed certificates among the participants of the training and appreciated their interest and keenness in IOT.
