The School of Professional Psychology successfully organized the 8th International Conference on Generational Transitions: Emerging Psychological Practices. The Day 1 of the event brought together experts, researchers, practitioners, and students for an inspiring inaugural session, insightful keynote addresses by Prof. Dr. Rubina Hanif and Dr. Matthew Sacchet, and engaging panel discussions on Degree vs Skills and Quit Culture vs Loyalty Culture. The symposium sessions gave platform to the students and professionals to present their work internationally.

✨ Pre-Conference Workshop Highlights ✨

“From Assessment to Action: Practical Training in ABLLS-R for Developmental Skill Evaluation”

On Friday, 15th May 2026, an enriching and hands-on pre-conference workshop was successfully conducted by Ms. Sana Zaheer and Ms. Laraib Javaid, Lecturers, Department of Clinical Psychology. Special Thanks to Moderator Ms. Amara, Lecturer, Department of Applied Psychology.

The session provided participants with practical exposure to the ABLLS-R framework, bridging the gap between assessment and intervention in developmental skill evaluation.

Students from UMT and various other colleges actively participated, making the session highly interactive, engaging, and full of insightful discussions.

From understanding assessment tools to applying them in real-life clinical settings, the workshop truly emphasized learning by doing!
