Huge congratulations to Prof. M.M. Sheikh-Jabbari for being chosen as the distinguished researcher of physics in Iran in 2025! This is a tremendous honor for him and for the School of Theoretical Physics at IPM (Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences).
I am particularly thrilled by this news because I’ve had the privilege of meeting Professor Sheikh-Jabbari personally. We shared time together during the 12th Regional Conference of Mathematical Physics at the National Centre for Physics (NCP) in Islamabad, Pakistan.
His contributions to theoretical physics are significant and have directly impacted my own work. I have often relied on his insightful research papers on non-commutative field theories while conducting my research.
Prof. Sheikh-Jabbari’s intellectual rigor and his genuine personality are truly inspiring. It's fantastic to see such an influential figure receive the recognition he deserves.
Wishing him all the best for his future endeavors and continued scientific breakthroughs!

A Plea for Peace and Progress: India and Pakistan, Neighbors First

For too long, the narrative between India and Pakistan has been marred by conflict and mistrust. Yet, we stand as neighbors, bound by geography and a shared history. It's time we recognize a fundamental truth: progress flourishes where borders are bridges, not barriers.

Look around the world. Nations that prioritize peaceful coexistence and foster strong relationships with their neighbors are the ones that achieve remarkable economic and social development. Imagine the immense potential for growth, innovation, and prosperity that could be unlocked if India and Pakistan channeled their resources and energy into collaboration instead of conflict. Zero tension on our borders isn't just a dream; it's a prerequisite for a brighter future for all.

The power to shape this future lies with the people. We, the citizens of Pakistan and India, must become the driving force for peace. We must actively discourage and reject the voices of political leaders who seek to divide us, who thrive on animosity, and who propagate hatred. Their rhetoric only serves to perpetuate a cycle of violence and hinders the progress of our nations.

It's our responsibility to hold these leaders accountable. We must raise our voices in protest against those who beat the drums of war and sow seeds of discord. امن اور ترقی کی درخواست: ہندوستان اور پاکستان، پڑوسی پہلے

بہت طویل عرصے سے، ہندوستان اور پاکستان کے درمیان بیانیہ تنازعات اور بداعتمادی کا شکار ہے۔ پھر بھی، ہم پڑوسیوں کے طور پر کھڑے ہیں، جغرافیہ اور مشترکہ تاریخ کے پابند ہیں۔ اب وقت آگیا ہے کہ ہم ایک بنیادی سچائی کو پہچانیں: ترقی وہاں پروان چڑھتی ہے جہاں سرحدیں پل ہوتی ہیں، رکاوٹیں نہیں۔

دنیا بھر میں دیکھو۔ وہ قومیں جو پرامن بقائے باہمی کو ترجیح دیتی ہیں اور اپنے پڑوسیوں کے ساتھ مضبوط تعلقات کو فروغ دیتی ہیں وہی ہیں جو قابل ذکر معاشی اور سماجی ترقی حاصل کرتی ہیں۔ ترقی، اختراع اور خوشحالی کے بے پناہ امکانات کا تصور کریں جو کہ اگر ہندوستان اور پاکستان اپنے وسائل اور توانائی کو تنازعات کی بجائے تعاون میں استعمال کریں تو کھل سکتے ہیں۔ ہماری سرحدوں پر زیرو تناؤ محض ایک خواب نہیں ہے۔ یہ سب کے لیے روشن مستقبل کی شرط ہے۔

اس مستقبل کی تشکیل کی طاقت عوام کے پاس ہے۔ ہمیں، پاکستان اور ہندوستان کے شہریوں کو امن کے لیے محرک بننا چاہیے۔ ہمیں فعال طور پر ان سیاسی رہنماؤں کی آوازوں کی حوصلہ شکنی اور رد کرنا چاہیے جو ہمیں تقسیم کرنا چاہتے ہیں، جو دشمنی پروان چڑھتے ہیں، اور جو نفرت پھیلاتے ہیں۔ ان کی بیان بازی صرف تشدد کے ایک چکر کو دوام بخشتی ہے اور ہماری قوموں کی ترقی کو روکتی ہے۔

ان لیڈروں کا احتساب کرنا ہماری ذمہ داری ہے۔ ہمیں جنگ کے ڈھول پیٹنے اور تفرقہ کے بیج بونے والوں کے خلاف اپنی آواز بلند کرنی چاہیے۔ آئیے ہم سے بات چیت، افہام و تفہیم اور باہمی احترام کی طرف تبدیلی کا مطالبہ کریں۔ آئیے ہم ایسے لیڈروں کا مقابلہ کریں جو امن، تعاون اور اپنے لوگوں کی بھلائی کو سب سے زیادہ ترجیح دیتے ہیں۔

لاکھوں کا مستقبل ہماری تیار کردہ تقسیموں سے آگے دیکھنے اور ہماری مشترکہ انسانیت کو گلے لگانے کی ہماری صلاحیت پر منحصر ہے۔ آئیے تنازعات پر ترقی، نفرت پر سمجھوتہ اور ہندوستان اور پاکستان دونوں کے لیے پرامن، خوشحال مستقبل کا انتخاب کریں۔ Friendship ForPeace
