People didn’t just walk past; they paused, engaged, imagined themselves as future speakers, organizers, and changemakers. It wasn’t simply about signing up for a society — it was about becoming part of something meaningful, inspiring, and bigger than all of us.
Its glorious existence since the last 8 years really brought the highest number of registrations. See you all next year.

In 2021, she walked into Lahore College with nothing but curiosity in her hands and dreams she hadn’t learned to name yet. She had only ever watched TED Talks behind a screen — until the day she witnessed TEDxLCWU Countdown for the first time. That moment was the first step into a future self she couldn’t even imagine then.

Fast forward to 2023, Tashfa Saghir wasn’t just attending TEDx stepped into the red circle as a host and Director of Hosting for TEDxLCWU Countdown. A few months later, she rose to lead the entire society — not through chance, but through courage, consistency, and an honesty that never wavered, becoming a name people remembered. She entered TEDxLCWU not as someone looking for the spotlight, but as someone willing to earn it. And she did.

From a young girl watching TED Talks online,
to a woman leading TEDxLCWU as its President,
the journey wasn’t accidental. It was intentional.

Now she leads with heart, with fire, with a standard that doesn’t bend. Her tenure is a promise — that honesty will never be negotiable, love will never be secondary, and ideas worth spreading will always remain the soul of this platform. Because for her, TEDx is not just an event. It’s a responsibility, a legacy, and a living reminder that possibility always begins in the heart of greats.
