Create relationships & shared meaning

Productivity & efficiency. Society allows specialization makes it easier to live as an individual
Individual growth & development (relationally & otherwise)
Survival (which a reason for society). Optional: Our society is part of the informal relationships which encourage the productivity

, cooperative behavior and the arts. Ironically it can be a source of both commonality & diversity--which both help us achieve a higher level of living.
