Government College of Technology, Rasul Mandi Baha ud Din was initially established in 1873 as a department of Oriental College Lahore (Punjab U
niversity), and then it takes only Surveyor classes. In coming years this school of engineering was shifted to Rasul, a town of M. The campus of GCT Rasul is built near Rasul Barrage. In 1962 it started 3 years program of Diploma of Associate Engineer in Civil Technology. And In 1972 this college was upgraded to Government College of Technology. Government College of Technology Rasul is the pioneer Institution in country involved in training Technicians and Technologists. Considerable attention is given to the moral, intellectual, physical, emotional and social development of the student. The graduates are expected to behave courteously, honestly and sensibly all the times.
