We are pleased to share that the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan, has announced a Call for Proposals under its programme titled “Industrial Solution Grants for Young Scientists.”
This programme aims to support applied, demand-driven research projects addressing industrial problems in collaboration with relevant industry partners, with active involvement of MS/MPhil and PhD students.
Purpose of the Programme:
Encourage young scientists in designing applied and industry-oriented solutions.
Strengthen linkages between academia and industry for commercialization of indigenous technologies.
Focus Areas Include:
Climate Change
Food Security
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Textiles
Agriculture-Based Industries
Pharmaceuticals
Chemicals
Engineering
Renewable Energy
Emerging Technologies
Chemistry
Eligibility Criteria:
Scientists and researchers from HEC-recognized HEIs, Centers of Excellence, and R&D organizations.
Mandatory involvement of enrolled MS/MPhil or PhD students.
Proposal must be prepared in collaboration with relevant industry.
Industry partner must be included as Co-PI/Collaborator.
Grant Details:
Maximum funding: Up to PKR 3 Million per project
Project duration: Up to 2 years
Industry cash contribution will be preferred.
Submission Deadline: 31 March 2026
