I attended the college for four years with Principal-Ismail sethi, Rashid Bacha, Amiin Sahib, Maulana Idrees and others. May Allah award high place in Jannah to Rashid Bacha and Maulana Jdrees. About others I have no news.

My first learning place

I was a student of Govt Akbar memorial College Mardan during 1959-1963. I completed my B.Sc (Physics, Maths) securing top position in the college and 3rd position in the University of Peshawar. My favourite teachers were Rashid Bacha and Amin Sahib of the Physics deptt. Later when the Nawabs received compensation of the land from the govt., then the name was changed to Govt College Mardan. I greatly cherish the memories of my stint as a student.
