๐๐ค Advancing Innovation in Water Quality Monitoring through AI
The Center of Artificial Intelligence (AI), UET Mardan successfully organized a workshop on Microbial Water Quality using Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with researchers and industry experts at UET Mardan.
The workshop was conducted under the patronage and engagement of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Muhammad Khan( Gul Muhammad Khan ), whose vision for AI-driven innovation and applied research continues to shape the future direction of UET Mardan. The activity was led by Director Center of AI, Prof. Dr. Imran Khan , with valuable support from Chairman Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Alam, along with the dedicated faculty members of the Civil Engineering Department.
The workshop was conducted with the support of the Department of Civil Engineering, whose laboratory facilities and technical resources were utilized to facilitate practical experimentation, microbial analysis, and hands-on learning activities during the sessions.
The workshop focused on the application of AI and emerging technologies for rapid microbial contamination detection, smart water quality assessment, and intelligent monitoring systems aimed at ensuring safe and sustainable water resources.
Students, researchers, and faculty members actively participated in hands-on sessions and discussions covering:

Through initiatives like these, the Center of AI at UET Mardan is actively contributing toward building future-ready talent and leveraging Artificial Intelligence to address real-world challenges in water quality, climate resilience, healthcare, and sustainable development.
