About Quaid-e-Azam Law College

Throughout its history Quaid-e-Azam Law College Lahore has upheld a tradition of diversity, innovation and opportunity. The college has constantly provided legal education that combines an understanding of the theory, philosophy and practice of Law Established in 1987, QLC is the first Law College in the private sector of Punjab. Such an institution had been greatly

awaited and direly needed owing to the perpetually increasing number of candidates in the country intending to seek legal education. QLC by way of its establishment provided this and more by offering legal education with such dynamism and student satisfaction that it has come to be known as truly providing. Its committed and forward looking administration along with its highly competent and professional faculty has persistently directed the institution on progressive and scholarly lines which has earned QLC veneration and established its name in the realm of legal education. QLC is the only law college in the private sector which has a balanced faculty which consists of foreign qualified and leading practicing lawyers of the Supreme Court and retired judges of superior courts in its faculty core. The College Library provides excellent facilities of reserve collections of 10,000 most useful English, Indian and Local Books, articles, Law Journals and publications.

With profound grief and heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved Sir Nafeer A. Malik, Chief Operating Officer of Quaid-e-Azam Law College Lahore, an inspiring teacher, mentor, and guiding force for all of us.

His dedication to education, his wisdom, and his unwavering support for students and colleagues will always be remembered. Sir Nafeer A. Malik was not only an exceptional professional but also a remarkable human being who touched countless lives with his kindness, guidance, and leadership.

His departure has left us in deep sorrow and tears. Though he is no longer with us in this world, he has embarked on his eternal journey, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, integrity, and inspiration.

The entire family of Quaid-e-Azam Law College Lahore mourns this immense loss and extends heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, students, and all those whose lives he influenced.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

The Inauguration Ceremony of the Law Clinic Society for the Academic Year 2025–2026 marked the official commencement of another dynamic year committed to practical legal education, advocacy, and community service.

The ceremony introduced the four functional clinics operating under the society:

• Criminal Law Clinic, headed by A.D. Dahar
•Civil Law Clinic, headed by Salman Ahmed
• Street Law Clinic, headed by Amna B. Malik
• Human Rights Law Clinic, headed by Javeria Qadir

During the session, each clinic head shared valuable insights about the objectives, scope, and initiatives of their respective clinics for the upcoming year. The discussion highlighted the importance of clinical legal education in developing advocacy skills, legal awareness, and a deeper sense of responsibility towards society.

The event was formally inaugurated by Awais Bajwa, President of the Law Clinic Society (2025–2026), who addressed the audience and outlined the society’s vision for the year ahead. In his remarks, he emphasized strengthening practical learning opportunities, encouraging active student participation, and expanding the society’s outreach to promote legal awareness and service to the community.

The inauguration reflects the society’s continued commitment to bridging the gap between theoretical legal education and real-world practice, setting the tone for a year filled with impactful initiatives, collaboration, and professional growth.

Khadija Wahid, Ahmad Shahzaib, and Samar Hussain have brought immense pride to Quaid-e-Azam Law College by emerging as finalists at the 4th TILS National Moot Court Competition, with the trophy being presented by Chief Justice (R) Mamoon Rasheed Sheikh. Their exceptional advocacy, rigorous research, and remarkable composure throughout the competition reflect not only their talent but their relentless hard work and determination. Competing against some of the finest teams, they demonstrated true mooting excellence and upheld the spirit of QLC Moot Society with distinction.
