The Semester 6 examination assignment required students to design a lamp by selecting a category of their choice. The designs were developed using concepts of different types of lines and nature-inspired themes. Students explored a combination of materials, including metal and wood, and employed advanced fabrication techniques such as CNC machining and laser cutting.
A double jury evaluation was conducted as part of the examination process. Since this was a final exam assignment, students were questioned rigorously to assess their design concepts, material selection, fabrication process, and overall ex*****on, ensuring high academic and design quality.

Quaid Day ceremony held at GOVERNMENT HOME ECONOMICS COLLEGE NOWSHERA, under the supervision of Ms Haleema Sadia, Assistant Professor of Urdu. Students paid tribute to the great leader by performing skit and Tableau. The national songs were sung by the students. On this day, Principal, Professor Sabeeha Zeb appreciated the students and teachers.

14 November is World Diabetes Day. This year too, a seminar was arranged at Government Home Economics College Pirpai Nowshera, by the Department of Food & Nutrition under the supervision of Ms Samiya Akhtar, Ms. Fatima and Ms. Asma Sepha. Students of Semester VI &VIII from the Department of Foods & Nutrition participated in the Presentation and provided an opportunity to give awareness about diabetes as a critical global public health issue and emphasized the collective and individual actions needed to improve the prevention, diagnosis and management of the condition. Students also prepared a healthy salad for diabetic patients, and shared with the audience. At the end of the seminar Principal Government Home Economics College Pirpai Nowshera, Professor Sabeeha Zeb appreciated the efforts of students and Teachers.
