"آج ہم الفاظ، تال، اور جذبے کی طاقت کو منانے جارہے ہیں۔ دنیا کی شاعری کے دن پر، ہمیں شاعری کی خوبصورتی کو ہر اسلوب میں قبول کرنا چاہیے۔ چاہے وہ ورس ہو جو دلوں کو ہلچلاتے ہیں یا وہ لائنیں ہوں جو واضح تصاویر بناتے ہیں، شاعری ہمیں جوڑتی ہے،, اور ہمیں زبان کی پرانی جادو کی یاد دلاتی ہے۔ آئیں ایک لمحہ بنائیں کہ ان داناوں کی تعریف کریں، جو کہ ماضی اور حال کے شاعروں کو یاد کرتے ہیں، جن کے الفاظ ہماری دنیا کو شکل دیتے ہیں اور ہمارے دلوں کو روشن کرتے ہیں۔"
