7th Day of the Training Workshop

The 7th day of the training workshop under the four-week National Outreach Program was successfully conducted by CHRCD in collaboration with NAHE and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for university faculty members.

The workshop is being organized under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt, Director of the Centre.

Today, four engaging and insightful sessions were delivered by Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice Chancellor of Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak, who served as the resource person. These sessions were part of his module titled “Psychological Wellbeing of Higher Education Teachers and Learners.”

The sessions were highly informative, interactive, and practical in nature, focusing on effective teaching strategies, academic planning, and classroom implementation. Participants gained valuable insights into promoting psychological wellbeing in higher education settings.

Faculty members actively participated in the discussions and highly appreciated the relevance and usefulness of the sessions for their professional growth and academic development. 6th Day of the Training Workshop

The 6th day of the training workshop was successfully conducted under the four-week National Outreach Program organized by CHRCD in collaboration with NAHE and Higher Education Commission for university faculty members.

The workshop is being held under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt, Director of the Centre.

Today, four engaging sessions were delivered by Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice Chancellor of Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak, who served as the resource person. Today, four sessions were delivered by Dr. Muntazar Mehdi from National University of Modern Languages. He served as the resource person and delivered insightful lectures on the module titled “Communication Skills for Higher Education Teaching.”

At the conclusion of the sessions, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt presented a shield to Dr. Muntazar Mehdi in recognition of his valuable contribution and dedicated efforts toward the success of the workshop.

CHRCD, in collaboration with NAHE and HEC, organized a four-week National Outreach Program for faculty members.

Today marked the second day of the program, which continued to be highly informative and enriching with valuable learning sessions.

The training workshop is being conducted under the supervision of the Director of the Centre, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt.

Today’s first two sessions, under the module titled “Teaching as a Profession in Higher Education,” were conducted by Professor Dr. Zeeshan Zaib Khattak from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, who served as the resource person for the sessions. At the conclusion of the sessions, the Director of the Centre, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt, presented a shield to Dr. Zeeshan in recognition of his contribution.

The second and third sessions were conducted by Dr. Muntazar Mehdi from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. He delivered lectures on the module “Communication Skills for Higher Education Teaching.”

The training workshop is being conducted under the supervision of the Director of the Centre Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt.

Today’s module, titled “Teaching as a Profession in Higher Education,” was conducted by Professor Dr. Zeeshan Zaib Khattak from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, who served as the resource person for the session.

2- Essential Competencies of the Teaching Profession
3- Teacher as an Intellectual of Society

A community outreach podcast was conducted at the CHRCD office, where Prep 1 students from The City School met Dr. Muhammad Naeem Butt for an engaging and insightful session. The discussion focused on reimagining education, modern, student-centered approaches such as the flipped classroom, as well as the effective use of technology in teaching and learning. Dr. Butt also shared valuable philosophical insights, encouraging students to think about the purpose and impact of education. Overall, the visit proved to be a meaningful experience that broadened students’ perspectives and sparked curiosity about innovative learning practices.
