*Report on Installation of Biometric Attendance System*

In line with the directives of the Higher Education Department, Government of Balochistan, to ensure transparency, punctuality, and accountability in academic institutions, a biometric attendance system was installed at Government Girls Degree College Sardar Hassan Musa, Quetta.
The system is integrated with the HED’s central monitoring portal for real-time data synchronization. All faculty members and administrative staff have been registered with their CNIC and thumb impressions. A brief orientation session was conducted by the technical team to familiarize staff with the scanning procedure.
The installation of the biometric attendance system marks a significant step toward digitization and good governance at GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa, Quetta. The college administration is committed to full implementation of the system in accordance with departmental policy and to fostering a culture of discipline and responsibility among all staff members.

In continuation of the ongoing orientation sessions and admission drive, Ma'am Saba Hussam, Principal, Akhuwat College for Women, Chakwal, paid an official visit to Government Girls Degree College Sardar Hassan Musa, Quetta on April 9, 2026.
During the meeting, she apprised the faculty of the admission policy pertaining to the B.S. Economics and English Literature disciplines and provided a detailed briefing on the merit and need-based scholarship program, which comprehensively covers boarding and lodging expenses, including meals, uniforms, and stationery for eligible candidates.
Honourable principal Ma'am Saima Maqbool extended her gratitude for Ms. Saba Hussam and instructed the faculty members to disseminate information among prospective applicants as it will strengthen academic outreach in Balochistan.

On 8th April 2026, an orientation session ,organized by *Akhuwat College For Women, Chakwal*, in collaboration with Directorate of Colleges and Higher Education Quetta, was conducted at Govt.Post Graduate College for women Quetta.

A large number of students from *GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa Quetta* also attended this informative session .

The session highlighted the 2026-2030 Bachelor’s programs in English and Economics, emphasizing Akhuwat's commitment to providing fully funded scholarships that will cover all living and academic expenses. Attendees were also briefed on the strict eligibility criteria, which includes a 75% score in Intermediate and a household income limit, as well as the upcoming application deadline of August 10.

*Plant a tree , breathe a life*
As part of an environmental initiative, a tree plantation drive started at GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa Quetta on March 5, 2026, with a slogan of *سر سبز پاکستان*
The event aimed to promote sustainability and eco- friendly practices.

Honourable principal Ma'am Saima Maqbool along with worthy Ms Sadia Farooqi(Education Specialist),Respected Mr. Hussain Baloch (Director Colleges),Esteemed Ms.Saeeda Niaz (Joint Director) and honourable Ms. Zeba Kamal planted saplings across the college ground.

While acknowledging the efforts of Botany Deptt., Ma'am Saima Maqbool emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and pledged to nurture the plants.

On 3rd March 2026, a counselors meeting was held at GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa Quetta.Honourable principal ,Ma'am Saima Maqbool chaired the meeting.

During this interactive session, Ma'am Saima Maqbool shared her vision of improving academic standards and encouraging teamwork.

Furthermore, the college's academic matters were discussed in detail, and immediate decisions were taken,ensuring the smooth operation of the institution.

On 2nd March 2026, Honourable Ma'am Saima Maqbool, Principal GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa Quetta, convened the first staff meeting following her assumption of the office. The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss the policy matters pertaining to the college and facilitate introductions among the staff members.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome extended to the principal by the staff, who expressed their enthusiasm to work under her leadership. In turn, Ma'am Saima Maqbool emphasized her commitment to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks and marked a positive beginning for the institution under new leadership.

Report on Viva Voce: Psychology Deptt. Session- 2021-2025
A viva voce examination for 8th-semester students of psychology deptt. was conducted on 29th Nov.2025 at GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa Quetta. All eligible students appeared and were evaluated by the external examiner. The viva included questions from research methods used in thesis.

The examiner, Dr. Saima Ambreen from UOB psychology. Deptt appreciated the students for showing good understanding of theoretical concepts and presentation of their research projects confidently.
Honourable principal Ma'am Farrukh Bashir expressed her appreciation for overall performance of the students and congratulated the supervisor along with HOD and the faculty of psychology deptt.

The viva examination was completed smoothly and in a disciplined manner.
The guests were served with refreshments.

Viva Voce Report: English Literature ,8th Semester ( Session 2021-2025)

The 8th semester viva voce was conducted with utmost professionalism and decorum at GGDC Sardar Hassan Musa Quetta on 29th November 2025. The students presented themselves on time and were examined in a systematic and orderly manner. They demonstrated a commendable grasp of well-defined research questions and objectives.

The examiner, Dr. Saima Yousaf, Assistant Professor from UOB (English Deptt.), appreciated the students for choosing timely and relevant topics and thorough understanding of using relevant sources and presentation skills. The Honourable Principal, Ma'am Farrukh Bashir, congratulated the supervisor, HOD, and the whole English Deptt. on the successful completion of research work and viva voce of their students, stating that their performance was impressive, reflecting the institution's academic rigour and dedication.
