The Department of Engineering Management (DEM), CEME NUST, hosted a special official lunch to bid a heartfelt farewell to our Ex-Dean CEME, Dr. Nasir Rashid, now serving as Registrar, NUST, and to warmly welcome the newly appointed Dean, Dr. Aamer Ahmed Baqai.

DEM expresses its deepest gratitude to Dr. Nasir Rashid for his unwavering support, visionary leadership, and continuous encouragement throughout his tenure as Dean. 🌍 Department of Engineering Management Strengthens Global Research Footprint 🌍

The Department of Engineering Management (DEM), CEME-NUST, is pleased to announce that Engr Muzamil Mahmood (BE, MSEM, RE, SMIEEE) has been awarded a prestigious PhD Research Fellowship, with the support and guidance of Dr Asjad Shahzad, under the International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

Under this fellowship, he will conduct six months of his PhD research at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia, ranked 125 in the QS World University Rankings.

This international research placement is expected to further strengthen global research collaboration and academic linkages for the Department of Engineering Management, while making a valuable contribution to his ongoing doctoral research at NUST.

The Department of Engineering Management remains committed to promoting international research exposure for its students. Notably, this is the third PhD scholar from DEM in the last two years to be selected under the IRSIP program, highlighting the department’s strong research culture and sustained global engagement.
