Pashtoon students council Arid university strongly condemn the deeply disturbing incident reported at Sarhad University, Islamabad Campus, where a uniformed military officer allegedly displayed a pistol, reportedly fired in the university premises, and used it to intimidate and harass students.

This is not an act of discipline or authority it is an unacceptable abuse of power. A university is a place for education, not a place where students should be threatened with weapons or made to live in fear.

If a person in uniform enters an educational institution and uses a weapon to frighten students, they should be held accountable. Such an act is shameful and must never be normalized.

Students deserve safety, respect, and freedom from intimidation. We demand a transparent investigation into this incident and appropriate action against anyone found responsible.

8 August — Quetta Lawyers’ Martyrs Day

8 August remains one of the darkest and most painful days in the history of Balochistan. On this day in 2016, a devastating su***de bombing at Quetta Civil Hospital claimed dozens of precious lives, including a large number of lawyers. The tragedy inflicted an irreparable loss on Balochistan’s legal community and the entire nation.

These lawyers were voices for justice, democracy, human rights, constitutional supremacy, and the rule of law. Their loss was not only a tragedy for their families and the legal fraternity, but a deep wound for the people of Balochistan and Pakistan.

On this solemn day, Pashtoon Students Council, Arid University pays tribute to the martyrs of the Quetta lawyers’ tragedy and honors their sacrifices. We remember their courage and reaffirm our commitment to the values they stood for: peace, justice, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.

8 اگست — یومِ شہدائے وکلاء کوئٹہ

8 اگست بلوچستان کی تاریخ کا ایک نہایت غمناک اور سیاہ دن ہے۔ آج کے دن 2016 میں کوئٹہ سول ہسپتال میں ہونے والے المناک خودکش حملے نے بلوچستان کی قانونی برادری کو ناقابلِ تلافی نقصان پہنچایا۔ اس سانحے میں بڑی تعداد میں وکلاء سمیت درجنوں قیمتی انسانی جانیں ضائع ہوئیں۔

یہ وہ وکلاء تھے جو قانون، انصاف، جمہوریت، انسانی حقوق اور آئین کی بالادستی کے لیے اپنی آواز بلند کر رہے تھے۔ ان کی شہادت صرف ان کے خاندانوں اور قانونی برادری کا نقصان نہیں بلکہ پورے بلوچستان اور پاکستان کے لیے ایک عظیم سانحہ تھی۔

آج، اس المناک سانحے کی برسی کے موقع پر Pashtoon Students Council, Arid University تمام شہدائے کوئٹہ وکلاء کو خراجِ تحسین اور خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتی ہے۔ ہم ان کی قربانیوں کو سلام پیش کرتے ہیں اور اس عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں کہ امن، انصاف، جمہوریت، آئین اور قانون کی بالادستی کے لیے جدوجہد جاری رہے گی۔

Pashtoon Students Council (PSC), Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, stands in firm solidarity with the people of Swat and the peaceful protesters gathered under the banner of Swat Olasi Pasoon at Kabal Chowk. The reported explosion during a peaceful demonstration is a heartbreaking tragedy and raises serious concerns about the safety and fundamental rights of citizens exercising their democratic freedoms.

We are deeply grieved by the loss of innocent lives and the injuries sustained by many others. Our heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families, and we pray for the speedy recovery of all those who were injured.

PSC Arid University renews its call for lasting peace, justice, accountability, and the protection of every citizen across Swat and the entire Pakhtoon region. The peaceful voice of the people must be respected, protected, and never silenced.

پشتون اسٹوڈنٹس کونسل (PSC)، ایرڈ ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی راولپنڈی، سوات کے عوام اور کبل چوک میں سوات اولسی پاڅون کے زیرِ اہتمام ہونے والے پُرامن احتجاج کے ساتھ اپنی مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتی ہے۔ پُرامن مظاہرے کے دوران ہونے والے مبینہ دھماکے کا واقعہ انتہائی افسوسناک اور تشویشناک ہے، جو اپنے جمہوری حق کے لیے آواز بلند کرنے والے شہریوں کی سلامتی پر سنگین سوالات اٹھاتا ہے۔

ہم اس سانحے میں قیمتی جانوں کے ضیاع پر دلی رنج و غم کا اظہار کرتے ہیں، شہداء کے لواحقین سے تعزیت کرتے ہیں، اور زخمی ہونے والے تمام افراد کی جلد اور مکمل صحت یابی کے لیے دعا گو ہیں۔

پشتون اسٹوڈنٹس کونسل ایریڈ ایگری کلچر یونیورسٹی راولپنڈی اس دردناک واقعے کی پرزور مذمت کرتی ہے اور شہید کی عظیم قربانی پر انہیں شدید خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتی ہے۔ ہم دکھ کی اس گھڑی میں شہید کے لواحقین اور پرامن عوامی تحریک کے ساتھ برابر کے شریک ہیں۔

جنوبی پشتونخوا میں حالیہ دنوں رونما ہونے والے خونریز واقعات نے ایک بار پھر ہمارے وطن کو غم اور خوف میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے۔

ہنہ اُرک کے مقام پر مسلح افراد کی فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں چار بے گناہ پشتون شہری شہید ہو گئے، جبکہ اس کے اگلے ہی روز زیارت کے علاقے منگی ڈیم کے قریب حملے میں 32 پولیس اہلکار شہید ہوئے۔ ہر بے گناہ انسان کی جان کا ضیاع ایک ناقابلِ تلافی سانحہ ہے، اور ہم ان تمام متاثرہ خاندانوں سے دلی ہمدردی اور تعزیت کا اظہار کرتے ہیں۔

پشتون اسٹوڈنٹس کونسل، ایریڈ یونیورسٹی ان تمام دہشت گردانہ واقعات کی شدید ترین الفاظ میں مذمت کرتی ہے۔ ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ عوام کو یہ جاننے کا حق حاصل ہے کہ یہ مسلح گروہ کہاں سے آتے ہیں، انہیں اسلحہ، وسائل اور نقل و حرکت کی سہولت کون فراہم کرتا ہے، اور وہ اتنی آسانی سے مختلف علاقوں تک کیسے پہنچ جاتے ہیں۔ ان سوالات کے شفاف اور غیر جانبدارانہ جواب دینا ریاستی اداروں کی ذمہ داری ہے ۔

آج پورے پشتونخوا وطن میں لوگ امن، تحفظ اور انصاف کا مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں۔ کوئٹہ میں جاری احتجاج بھی اسی آواز کی نمائندگی کرتا ہے کہ عوام مزید لاشیں نہیں، بلکہ انصاف اور پائیدار امن چاہتے ہیں۔

ہم بطور طلبہ یہ واضح کرنا چاہتے ہیں کہ پشتون عوام مزید خونریزی، خوف اور بدامنی برداشت نہیں کر سکتے۔ ہم ریاست سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ ان واقعات کی آزادانہ، شفاف اور غیرجانبدار تحقیقات کی جائیں، ذمہ دار عناصر کو قانون کے مطابق انصاف کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے، اور پشتونخوا میں امن و امان کے قیام کے لیے مؤثر اور عملی اقدامات کیے جائیں۔

ہماری آواز واضح ہے:
ہمیں مزید لاشیں نہیں، امن چاہیے۔
ہمیں خاموشی نہیں، انصاف چاہیے۔
پشتونخوا کو جنگ نہیں، پائیدار امن چاہیے۔

A Tribute on the Second Death Anniversary of Shaheed Gilaman Wazir

Two years have passed, yet your voice still lives on in every heart that dreams of peace, justice, and dignity.

Shaheed Gilaman Wazir dedicated his entire life to raising his voice for the rights of the Pashtun people. He consistently spoke for peace in Pashtunkhwa, an end to terrorism and violence, and for every Pashtun to live with dignity, security, and freedom.

This oppressive state (Pakistan) brutally martyred Gilaman Wazir because his only “crime” was that he wanted peace for the Pashtun Afghan people.

Although his voice was silenced, his mission lives on. His struggle against oppression, his message of peace, and his unwavering commitment to the rights of the Pashtun nation will continue to inspire generations.

Martyrs never die; they live forever through their ideals and in the hearts of their people.

May Allah grant Shaheed Gilaman Wazir the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Ameen.

شہید گیلامن وزیر کی دوسری برسی پر ہم اُسی خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہیں۔

دو سال گزر گئے، مگر آپ کی آواز آج بھی ہر اس دل میں زندہ ہے جو امن، انصاف اور وقار کا خواب دیکھتا ہے۔

شہید گیلامن وزیر نے اپنی پوری زندگی پشتون قوم کے حقوق کے لیے آواز بلند کی۔ وہ ہمیشہ پشتونخوا میں امن، دہشت گردی اور تشدد کے خاتمے، اور ہر پشتون کے لیے عزت، تحفظ اور آزادی کی بات کرتے رہے۔

اس جابر ریاست (پاکستان) نے گیلامن وزیر کو بے دردی سے شہید کیا کیونکہ شہید گیلامن وزیر کی گناہ صرف یہ تھی کہ وہ پشتون افغان کے لۓ امن چاہتے تھے۔

اگرچہ ان کی آواز خاموش کر دی گئی، مگر ان کا مشن آج بھی زندہ ہے۔ ظلم کے خلاف ان کی جدوجہد، امن کا پیغام، اور پشتون قوم کے حقوق کے لیے ان کی ثابت قدمی ہمیشہ لوگوں کو حوصلہ دیتی رہے گی۔

شہداء کبھی نہیں مرتے، وہ ہمیشہ اپنے نظریے اور اپنے لوگوں کے دلوں میں زندہ رہتے ہیں۔

اللہ تعالیٰ شہید گیلامن وزیر کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے۔ آمین

Remembering Shaheed Maulana Khan Zeb on His First Martyrdom Anniversary

Today, we remember Shaheed Maulana Khan Zeb on the first anniversary of his martyrdom. His life was devoted to serving humanity, promoting peace, and standing with the Pashtun people during challenging times.

As an Islamic scholar and a respected public figure, he consistently raised his voice for peace, justice, unity, and the dignity of the Pashtun nation. He believed that every individual deserved to live without fear, with equal rights, and in an atmosphere of harmony. His unwavering commitment to the welfare of the Pashtun community and his message of peaceful coexistence earned him the respect and admiration of many.

His martyrdom was a profound loss, but his message of peace, courage, and service continues to inspire generations. We honor his memory, remember his contributions with gratitude, and pray that his legacy of compassion and justice lives on.

May Allah (SWT) grant Shaheed Maulana Khan Zeb the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, accept his sacrifices, and bless his family with patience and strength.

آج ہم شہید مولانا خان زیب کو ان کی پہلی برسی کے موقع پر انتہائی احترام، عقیدت اور دعاؤں کے ساتھ یاد کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے اپنی زندگی انسانیت کی خدمت، امن کے فروغ اور پشتون عوام کے حقوق اور وقار کے لیے وقف کر رکھی تھی۔

ایک جید عالمِ دین اور باوقار عوامی شخصیت کی حیثیت سے انہوں نے ہمیشہ امن، انصاف، اتحاد اور پشتون قوم کے وقار کے لیے آواز بلند کی۔ ان کا یقین تھا کہ ہر انسان کو خوف سے آزاد، عزت و احترام اور مساوی حقوق کے ساتھ زندگی گزارنے کا حق حاصل ہے۔ پشتون عوام کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے ان کی مسلسل جدوجہد اور امن کا پیغام آج بھی بے شمار لوگوں کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہے۔

ان کی شہادت ایک بڑی نقصان تھی، لیکن امن، خدمت، حوصلے اور انصاف کا ان کا پیغام آج بھی زندہ ہے اور آنے والی نسلوں کو متاثر کرتا رہے گا۔ ہم ان کی خدمات کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہیں، ان کی قربانیوں کو احترام سے یاد کرتے ہیں اور دعا کرتے ہیں کہ ان کی روشن میراث ہمیشہ قائم رہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ شہید مولانا خان زیب کی کامل مغفرت فرمائے، انہیں جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے، ان کی قربانیوں کو شرفِ قبولیت بخشے، اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کو صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے۔

جو لوگ امن، انصاف اور انسانیت کے لیے اپنی زندگیاں وقف کر دیتے ہیں، وہ دنیا سے رخصت ہو جاتے ہیں مگر ان کی جدوجہد ہمیشہ زندہ رہتی ہے۔

A fearless voice for justice, democracy, and the rights of the oppressed, Shaheed Usman Khan Kakar dedicated his life to serving his people. His courage, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to truth continue to inspire us.

Though five years have passed since his departure, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who believe in peace, equality, and human dignity.

Pashtoon Students Council ARID pays tribute to his sacrifices and honors his lifelong struggle for justice.

آج ہم شہید عثمان خان کاکڑ کی پانچویں برسی پر انہیں خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہیں۔

وہ انصاف، جمہوریت اور مظلوم عوام کے حقوق کے لیے ایک نڈر آواز تھے۔ شہید عثمان خان کاکڑ نے اپنی زندگی اپنے عوام کی خدمت اور حق و سچ کی جدوجہد کے لیے وقف کر دی۔ ان کی جرات، بصیرت اور ثابت قدمی آج بھی ہمیں حوصلہ دیتی ہے۔

اگرچہ ان کی جدائی کو پانچ سال گزر چکے ہیں، لیکن ان کی جدوجہد اور نظریات آج بھی امن، برابری اور انسانی وقار پر یقین رکھنے والوں کے دلوں میں زندہ ہیں۔

Justice for Dr. Mahnoor Nasar

The Pukhtoon Students Council strongly condemns the brutal acid attack on Dr. Mahnoor in Quetta. Targeting a doctor who dedicates her life to healing is an assault not just on one person, but on knowledge, humanity, and the dreams of every woman working to build a better future.

According to reports, Dr. Mahnoor was attacked while on duty. This raises serious concerns about the safety of women in workplaces and public spaces, especially in the Pashtun belt where girls already struggle against cultural and social barriers to education and employment.

Violence like this spreads fear and sends a dangerous message to families and students. It risks undoing years of progress toward female literacy, empowerment, and professional inclusion. If women in healthcare and education cannot feel safe, society as a whole pays the price.

We stand with Dr. Mahnoor and her family and wish her full strength and recovery. The government must act swiftly to ensure accountability, protect women professionals, and guarantee that no one faces violence for pursuing their career.
