Seminar – “From Marka-e-Haq to Parliament: Law, Faith, and Nation-Building in Pakistan”

The Allied Pool Department, Foundation University School of Science & Technology (FUSST), successfully organized a seminar titled “From Marka-e-Haq to Parliament: Law, Faith, and Nation-Building in Pakistan” on May 6, 2026, at the FUSST Seminar Hall.
The seminar was attended by senior academic leadership, faculty members, administrative staff, and students. The distinguished Guest Speaker, MNA Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani, delivered an insightful keynote address on the role of Parliament in translating ideological principles into practical governance and legislation. He emphasized youth engagement, responsible citizenship, and the importance of aligning lawmaking with ethical and societal values.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address by the Director FUSST, highlighting the importance of integrating moral and ethical values with academic learning. A key highlight of the seminar was an address on Marka-e-Haq by Brig. Imran Ahmed Khan HI(M) (Retd.), Sitara-e-Imtiaz, who discussed the significance of truth, resilience, and national responsibility in contemporary times. The program also featured a Milli Naghma, fostering a spirit of patriotism and unity among participants.
The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, providing participants with the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers and gain deeper insights into the discussed themes. The event served as a meaningful platform for intellectual dialogue and reflection on nation-building through knowledge, integrity, and unity.
