The 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗣𝗥 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱 “𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲”
The Directorate of Student Facilitation & Coordination, University of Poonch Rawalakot (UPR), organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “Building the Future in the Light of National Narrative.”
The event was graced by former Secretary Higher & Technical Education Balochistan, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir, as the chief guest. In his keynote address, he underscored the critical role of youth in safeguarding and promoting the national narrative, stressing that the responsibility of nation-building now extends beyond traditional boundaries into intellectual and digital domains. He urged students to remain proactive, informed, and resilient in responding to emerging modern-day challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Student Facilitation & Coordination, Dr. Jawad Zareen, highlighted the importance of student engagement in constructive academic discourse. He emphasized critical thinking, research orientation, and ideological clarity as essential tools for shaping responsible graduates capable of contributing meaningfully to society. He also stressed strengthening student facilitation mechanisms and fostering a learning environment that encourages innovation, dialogue, and leadership development.
Deputy Director Dr. Muhammad Rashid, who served as the focal person of the event, ensured effective coordination and successful ex*****on of the seminar. He appreciated the active participation of students and the collaborative efforts of the organizing team.
Almas Ayub also addressed the participants, reinforcing the need for academic awareness and constructive engagement among youth.
The seminar witnessed a large turnout of students, who showed keen interest in the subject and actively participated in the discussion, reflecting their commitment to understanding and contributing to the national narrative.
The event concluded on an encouraging note, reaffirming UPR’s commitment to nurturing informed, responsible, and forward-looking graduates.
