The session commenced with Tilawat-e-Kalam-e-Pak, followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH). Dr. Ayza Shoukat , Assistant Professor of Economics, performed the duties of Stage Secretary and guided students regarding the examination and grading policies, academic guidelines, and the Department's code of ethics.

The respected faculty members, Dr. Adeel Farooq and Ms. Robina Kousar, were also present to warmly welcome and encourage the newly enrolled students.

In his welcome address, Dr-Muhammad Abdullah, Chairperson, Department of Economics, encouraged students to embrace university life with dedication, discipline, curiosity, and confidence, while striving for academic excellence, critical thinking, research, and professional development.

The session concluded with the distribution of welcome kits and student IDs, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey.

The event "Milad e Mustafa Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam" was organized at the Jamia Masjid of the University of Sahiwal. The ceremony was directed by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, featuring a Mehfil-e-Mustafa where participants engaged in the remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The program included the recitation of the Holy Quran (Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Pak) and was enriched by performances from multiple Naat Khawans who presented beautiful Nasheeds in honor of the Prophet.
A detailed lecture was delivered on the Seerat-un-Nabi (the life of the Prophet), highlighting his exemplary character and teachings. The program concluded with a heartfelt dua for the prosperity of Pakistan and the progress of the university. The event witnessed a large gathering, which included the chairperson Department of Economics, Dr-Muhammad Abdullah and members from the administration, faculty, staff, and students.
