STOP TARGET KILLING 🏮

Abdullah Tahir- PTI leader from Okara and a former PTI election candidate
Traveled to Lahore from Okara for a medical appointment at a private clinic in the Gulberg area.
While waiting at the clinic, two unidentified gunmen reportedly arrived on a motorcycle.
The attackers opened fire on Abdullah Tahir at close range and then fled the scene on the motorcycle.
He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died shortly afterward despite efforts to save him.
Police launched an investigation, collecting CCTV footage and forensic evidence. As of the latest official reports, no arrests have been publicly confirmed, and investigators have not announced a definitive motive.

This clearly speculates about political motives as it has been years PTI workers and social media activists like me have been threatened continuously for raising their voices and support for PTI victims

ISLAMABAD BOMBING ‼️‼️

Islamabad, February 6, 2026 Pakistan's capital was shaken by one of its deadliest terrorist attacks in years after a su***de bomber targeted the Khadija Tul Kubra Imambargah in the Tarlai Kalan area during Friday prayers.The attack claimed the lives of 31 worshippers, while the su***de bomber also died in the blast, bringing the total death toll to 32. More than 169 people were injured, many of them critically, and were rushed to hospitals across Islamabad for emergency treatment.
This is not the first time a shia mosque has been targeted by groups it's one of the many instances. The government needs to make sure to protect human rights and religious freedom

CONTINUOUS SECTARIAN VIOLENCE ‼️‼️

Human rights organizations and researchers continue to report that Shia Muslims in Pakistan remain at risk of sectarian attacks, although the frequency varies by region. Communities such as Hazara Shias in Balochistan and Shias in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Parachinar have historically faced repeated violence.

Attacks on mosques and imam-Bargahs:
Shia places of worship have been targeted during Friday prayers, Muharram, and other religious gatherings. The February 2026 su***de bombing at the Khadija Tul Kubra Mosque in Islamabad, which killed dozens of worshippers, is one recent example.

Targeted killings: In previous years, doctors, journalists, lawyers, professors, scholars, community leaders, and other prominent Shia individuals have been assassinated in various parts of Pakistan. Such attacks have been especially documented in cities including in Punjab, Quetta, Karachi, and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

These incidents clearly show the state have failed to provide security to minorities across Pakistan. The Groups like SSP, LJG, ISIS have continuously targeted shia Muslims bringing death tolls in thousands
