From Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), arranged the Farmer Field School and Community Based Disaster management training under the BRAVE project from 10-19 December 2025.
Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal Rajput, Pro Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Sakrand was invited as Chief Guest and inauguration of the training workshop at Gymkhana NawabshahDr Julius Muchemi, provincial Head FAO Sindh, Ms. Novella FFS specialist FAO Pakistan, Abdul Karim Addditional Deputy Commissioner Sujawal, and Dr Noman Sidiqi were also present during inauguration session.

SBBUVAS Girls Team Shines at Inter-University Pink Festival 2025, SBA

The girls’ team of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (SBBUVAS), Sakrand, participated in the Inter-University Pink Festival 2025 held from 28 to 29 2025 November. This marked the first time that SBBUVAS female students represented the university in an external sports event.

Despite being newcomers to inter-university competitions, the SBBUVAS girls delivered an impressive performance, showcasing exceptional skills, confidence, and sportsmanship. Their participation and outstanding efforts brought pride to the university.

The team expressed heartfelt gratitude to the university authorities for providing them the opportunity to participate in this significant event and for extending continuous support and encouragement.
