DigiKhata is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure Software product quality.QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.You will also review system requirements, communication with the clients, Technical writing and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Technical Skills
• Experienced in developing QA standards and procedures to determine software product/application/feature quality and release readiness
• Strong understanding of software functional/non-functional testing i.e. Regression, Load, White/Black-Box, Smoke, Integration, Performance, security testing etc.
• Proven record of testing WebApi’s using Postman scripting
• Experienced in testing tools, postman scripting and integration of test results to CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
The following are the essential duties and responsibilities; other duties may be assigned.
• Provide comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for new products/features
• Discover, identify, isolate, track bugs within software throughout testing, and streamline the whole process by identifying any potential problems
• Research and analyse product features being tested
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Experience in working with Jira
• Experience in Cross Browser/Device testing
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
• Experienced in test automation tools i.e. selenium/JMeter etc.
• Proven record of integrating test results to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Experienced with open-source test-framework/tools
• A solid understanding of SQL/NoSql and relational databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage varied tasks, and work with multiple departments to gather the data.
• An ability to research, collect, analyze, synthesize, and present data effectively.
